You should check out Double Jump Video Games' channel if you haven't already. Haven't been keeping up recently but they're very solid videos. Game shop that shows everything that comes in or goes out , lot of good stuff.
Congrats Shawn! I had no idea you guys took empty cases. I have so many Gamecube/Wii extra cases, most have manuals, some I put in the cases I repurchased (if they didn't have a manual). Too bad I live in Timbuktu, but someday I'll be in to your neck of the woods. 😁
Really enjoy your content Rick. You are clearly demonstrating that you're at the top of the content creators in the video game space hands down. Love it and rooting for ya my man!
TWO copies of Xenogears? Holy shit that guy is incredibly cultured. No idea why he'd let go of the sticker sealed copy though. God I'd love to add that to my Xeno collection. :(
Having a Trading Card space that you can do weekly tourneys Pokemon, Yugioh, Magic the Gathering would be a pretty sweet way to have solid traffic in the store and make your place a like hangout spot for people
I so love those gold Pokémon cards, I would pick that one up in your store in a heartbeat. This was another great video, enjoyed watching it a lot. These make me want to buy a retro console and start playing those old games again 🤩😁
The sticker sealed games were opened, I used to open all my Dreamcast games by lifting from the bottom hinge and raising it upwards using the sticker as a hinge instead. Open game, yet still sticker sealed.
Been watching your videos for the past month on my lunch break I finally decided to subscribe today such great content ! Best gameshop series imo! Keep up the great work ! (:
Shout out to Song of the Deep! Underwater metroidvania where you are in a submarine. I played it a year or so ago and really enjoyed it. I don't hear many people talk about it.
Really enjoying these shop videos! I just wish I lived closer to Arkansas so I could grab that Lunar. I’ve got a sweet screen used Turbo Man Marching Band cape that I think Rick would like as a trade in.
Dreamcast, such a great system that came out abit to late, as it was competing with the ps2 that came out a year later. The thing is in Japan the Dreamcast lasted a couple years longer, then in the US.
Omg bro you brought back so many good memories trying to collect those I wish I kept them and never opened they’d probably of had good value when I get a bit older
Better Mario voice than Chris Pratt. Nothing against Pratt just sounds, from what i heard from the trailers, like he just phoned it in. Gave like 20% while Luigi's voice actor gave like 110%.
I just found your channel thanks to my brother and your video’s are super fun to watch:) Where are you located? The only place I like going to since I don’t have many stores like these I can go to is Estarland. But since they moved to Chantilly I don’t go I have because the drive is at least 1 hour away😭😭
Just turned 30 and my parents hid all our old Pokémon and toys in general till this year when they found it all again. Have like 8 of those poke balls and a few in packaging still along with about every happy meal toy they had. Looked them all up and not worth a ton so holding out on them, might be good to throw in collection and let them gain value as I don’t see Pokémon going anywhere.
love the channel, love your passion I always see you buying tons of awesome stuff. But can I be so bold to ask if you sell as much as you buy only asking out of curiosity of the hobby?
Ok......I owned a Retro video game store back before the Pandemic hit. In the 7 years I ran my business maybe once or twice did someone come in my shop to unload some rare games. Keep in mind this was early 2010's so collecting was not nearly as crazy as it was back than. Most stuff that came in my store was a lot of common games, systems, nothing really crazy. But this guy opens his shop in 2022 at the peak of collecting where it's hard to find anything rare or uncommon out in the wild, like at garage sales, flea markets (Not counting swap meets where your going to pay high dollar). But magically last few videos have been nothing but rare games just walking in his store. EVERYDAY RARE GAMES LMFAO!!!!! Smells a bit STAGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have quite a few rare games for N64, Gamecube, Wii, and to some degree, Switch. Yes, I'll agree that stuff is harder to come by. No idea why collecting now is more common than it was in the 2000's - mid 2010's.
Did you not hear he was running a trade in promotion? Of course people were bringing in their good stuff. Definitely not staged this day was literally the 2nd time I ever met Rick and he is as genuinely nice as his videos show. His store is also in a prominent college town not far from the capital as well so he gets a ton of different clientele
@@bigmoneybowman My store was at the heart of Downtown in my city. 15 minute walk away from a high school. 1 minute walk away from the bus terminal. I offered 75% trade value. Higher than any competition in the tri area. This was during early to mid 2010's where collecting was just starting to get BIG. Now in 2022 it's hard as hell to find someone willing to part with any games from their collection. I frequent garage sales, Flea Markets and nobody is will to part with much of what they have. Most people are holding on to their Retro games hoping 20 years from now that Little Samson is going to be worth 20,000$ Loose CART. This is from my personal experience. I find it laughable that day after day no matter on the promotion that he is giving out all these RARE games are just walking in. NOTHING on his promotion says MUST TRADE RARE AND UNCOMMON GAMES. But yet that's all he gets LMFAO!!!!!!!! STAGGED BIG TIME In My Opinion. Obviously yours is different.
Liking the series, but I really hope you didn't tell your employee to be a mascot and then record yourself laughing at her. Hoping it was their suggestion or they lost a bet
That was cheap. You shouldn’t be allowed to get that many tickets. I did that at a store once and all you had to do was trade in 50$ worth of stuff to get one ticket. So everyone was able to get one ticket and have more of a chance. Of course Sean was gonna win he had what like a 1/3 of the tickets in the hat? Might discourage people from participating next time.
Dang playstation dude. It doesnt take too much effort to sell on ebay. Could have been big money. That's just my opinion tho. That being said ,good job supporting the coolest game store in the usa
This gameshop series is hands down one of the best series on YT right now. Keep it up man, can’t wait for the uploads!
Oh man, thank you for the kind words!

@@GlassMaster_Jae it is awesome
Whitney killed it with the Mario. I laughed so hard 😂😂 "Lets ah go"
Hey thanks for featuring me! Had a blast trading in some old things for store credit - now to just decide what to buy with it!
Poke balls from BK back in 2000 were a huge deal, I remember the kids in my middle school going crazy over them.
I still love them haha
Congrats Shawn!
I had no idea you guys took empty cases. I have so many Gamecube/Wii extra cases, most have manuals, some I put in the cases I repurchased (if they didn't have a manual). Too bad I live in Timbuktu, but someday I'll be in to your neck of the woods. 😁
These episodes absolutely fly by! Your happiness and passion for your store shows so much in your recent uploads, it’s infectious
Really enjoy your content Rick. You are clearly demonstrating that you're at the top of the content creators in the video game space hands down. Love it and rooting for ya my man!
I love that donkey Kong hanging on the stairs in the background lmafo
Best Zelda game music playing during the drawing.
Love ALTTP!
The content on this channel is incredible. I actually enjoy it more than your main one 🤣

I like these store videos... Keep em coming! If we see something we would want to buy, would you ship?
Thanks for watching! Currently we don’t have the staff to start full filing online orders but hopefully we will soon!
I wish I had a game shop like this close to me. I’ve had to resort to eBay for a lot of my stuff
Is it weird that his red storage box was super nostalgic to me?
Hahaha kind of 😂
Keep up the good work. As one store to another, it's nice to see appreciation for the gaming market
