I haven’t posted a video on TH-cam in 5 years and I just packed my collection up 2 weeks ago for a move, but watching this makes me realize I need to post about my collection. When I unbox my collection, I’ll make sure to post videos because it’s pretty insane what I have boxed up…3,500+ games and over 100 consoles and handhelds so it’ll be fun!
I can't believe you don't test what you sell. When you clean them you're still taking a small part of the protective layer off and you don't know how much has already been taken off, plus maybe a screenshot of it playing on screen adds value in my opinion and gives peace of mind to you and the buyer. Love your vids by the way and you're one of my rare bell notification subs.
I test discs that have top scratches or that need to be run multiple times in order to remove all the scratches. Selling several thousand items a year, it's not realistic to go through and test everything unfortunately, it would impede on my productivity with youtube and ebay listing. I can say however, I've only had a few disc based returns ever since i bought my Eco Autosmart (:
@@CollectorsLuck agreed, sold a ton of discs and if they look good, 99.99999% of the time they work.

Do you have tecmo super bowl 2 special edition for snes ? I’ve had since I was a kid and was shocked to find that a sports game that I own is worth 155$ Canadian
meanwhile in Toronto, a fart sells for $100 so getting these people to sell their old games for any less than pricechart prices has been a challenge. I recently started a small ebay shop, so just starting out. I've gotten few lucky deals but its been a struggle out here. Might need to go off further to get better deals. Btw how did you net 1k? if I'm not mistaken, you should get roughly 500 or so, after ebay fees and 550 you paid.

You make it sound like you are making a ton of money. Yes, to a degree you are. What you are not telling people is that eBay takes 12.9% off the grand total the buyer pays. The grand total includes the cost of the item, the shipping fees, and the sales tax (if the buyer is required to pay it.) But the best way to figure out the average of how much you paid for each item is to tally up the exact number of items you purchased and divide it by the amount spent. By doing it this way, you will get a feel for what your profit margin is.
