This film will be the pinnacle in Mr. Eggers careers. After this masterpiece Robert eggers next film has to be a adaptation of the call of Cthulhu by HP Lovecraft that will be my dream
@@zachmorley158 I’ve seen the first 3 movies and yes he’s the only director I can trust on a future adaption of Lovecraft. Besides there’s a few movies of Lovecraft out there . And the ones that are made already are nothing but crap except for a couple ones . Eggers should be the one to direct and adapt to the cinema the call of Cthulhu
"I've never been more scared at playing a character" Considering how traumatising playing Pennywise was to Bill, that's really saying something. The poor actor, man lmao
Cant wait to see it on the big screen, love vampires, last year was the last voyage of the demeter, now nosferatu, thank you for another take on dracula, i'm very grateful from mexico
Love they named Davies character Albin. Albin Grau was one of the creators of the original film and it parallels Van Helsing being named after Bram Stoker
Why do you say such frivolous and unthoughtful things. You sound like a child: “Ooo, I like Eggers and he makes European folklore movies. Therefore, he should do LotR.” You have no regard for the fact that his grim style in no way reflects the lightheartedness of Tolkien or that LotR has already been adapted extremely well and is in no need of a remake or some pastiche. Please quit blathering on nonsensically.
Looks very beautiful but I find kind of weird Eggers seems to have made a mix of original film, Herzog's version, and "Bram Stoker's Dracula" by Coppola !! Really hope the film stands on its own as something innovative too :)
Of course there is going to be huge inspo from Stokers no doubt in my mind and we will see it, I don't think he'll try to hide it. Everything from Eggers so far has been super original and his own touch. I think this will kill
Let's appreciate who played Count Orlok aka Bill Skarsgàrd at his best for horror fans 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 We got to see IT "Pennywise" but this is gonna be a lot better and darker then his other roles 🫣
But Eggers made one mistake. Nosferatu is supposed to stand out because of his height, and he chooses a tall actor like Nicholas Hoult to play next to him.
I think Eggers decided to compromise with studios for money...he cant have 100 percent artistic freedom on "his" movies anymore. Witch and lighthouse was smaller movies and you can feel his unique signature as artist..but in Northman he didnt have control anymore and big studios dont take risks...i belive this one will also be mediocre
Huh?? Eggers has final cut on this film. Do you not understand what that means? It's purely 100% his vision. Every shot, every choice he can make. This is the film he's been wanting to make. Either you don't pay attention or are like the countless other low-IQ smooth brains online who make up their own assumptions and go with that as if it's fact. Why not listen to interviews where he clearly states the situation with The Northman and what he learned from it. Or you can just go on spewing your BS and pretending its fact.
I appreciate they realize Orlock isn’t just a Dracula derivative but the essence of plague, pestilence and evil brought to modern civilization.
It's basically what Stoker's Dracula is, but with another name.
@@grg1979nosferactu is just an unlicensed copy of dracula anyway.
Robert Eggers has been my favorite director since I saw The Witch. Can't wait to see this.
Done deal Mr. Eggers, I’ll be there.

BROOOOO. I truly believe Eggers would be the only director today to be able to do Lovecraft justice
How do you know all this? Have you seen the movie yet?
I've heard him talk about lovecraft, sadly, I don't think he'd do it, but maybe one day.

@@ernestoreveres8780 James Wan was hard at work on one very recently.
Just rewatched the Northman, can't wait to see this

This looks EPIC!
No way I'm missing this one❤❤❤

The Last Voyage Of The Demeter was unbelievable! I loved it! And so many people hated it. I found it extraordinary!
Some people may not love Eggers but everything he has made aince The Witch has been absolutely extraordinary filmography in my opinion.
Love they named Davies character Albin. Albin Grau was one of the creators of the original film and it parallels Van Helsing being named after Bram Stoker
Van Helsing is named after bram Stoker?
Abraham van Helsing and Abraham Stoker. Bram is a nickname.
@ ohhh I see
Yes, please go see this on the big screen! Movies like this on best experienced/appreciated on a grand scale.
im such a fan of roberts work i think he's such an amazing writer and director, so excited to see this film
This film is utterly brilliant.
Truly a masterpiece
When Bill sais that's it's his scariest performance, then I have chills. We remember his Pennywise...
release at 2th January in Germany, cant wait 🖤
Eggers never(!) dissapoints.
Hearing Aaron Taylor-Johnson say this film is like no other he has ever done is crazy like this movie isn’t Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging part 2
I’m ready for it
About time we get a horror film with some substance
Man what I would give for a robert eggars LOTR project
That would be unwise of him.
As much as i think id love it. Its just not him

I do think Eggers’s style would work with the Children of Hurin story
@@Video456325 that would be incredibvle
I'm seated.
Bill Skarsgard is the great
What Robert Eggers should make after Nosferatu:
1. Call of Cthulhu
2. Bloodborne
3. Dark Souls trilogy
I would happily fund his Blood orne movie
I think he'd do Elden Ring better than Dark Souls
Eggers would literally be perfect for Bloodborne. I see elements of it in Nosferatu
Eggers had to go to Universal and pitch why he should redo a story A CENTURY OLD
His pitch must have been outstanding, and this looks ELITE
glad aaron taylor johnson is on the project
Well, thank you very much for releasing this movie in god damn FEBRUARY 25 in Poland. Nice.
Look forward to watching it. Won’t watch it on Christmas Day tho.

@@alexgardner3264 Yes, you are right and I have to say I have a good feeling about this !! :)
I don't know how you avoid being influenced by those films.
When I learned that Eggers couldn't get general Mills to release Count Chocula this December I knew he didn't try at all with this movie.
I hope his next film is about Lycaon and how he became a werewolf

Thanks God more Movies are bringing back practical effects and Real locations and sets cause CGI was really boring me to death.
Greetings from Mars.
Why Christmas day?
Is this not the most Christmas-y thing you can imagine?
why not?
Victorians would tell scary and haunted stories to each other on Christmas Day.
Everyone likes a good haunting tale on Christmas day, like the story of Ebenezer Scrooge.
Soon 🧛
PLEASE LET ROBERT EGGERS ADAPT ANY LOVECRAFT STORY!!!!!
It looks so much like Dracula but with an eggar twist lol
no wonder that damn popcorn bucket of his sarcophagus has been sold out everywhere 😱😫😭
I will be surprised if it's as good as The Witch, but I'm ready to be surprised.
We will be there 😂😂 Jose moruinho
Time that vampires are cursed evil and not some daft viral infection (the worst thing that could ever be made out of the supernatural)!
Ill be there 🫡
I'm getting 20 bucks outta my piggy bank to see this in the movie house. I haven't gone to movies since The Barbie movie
Rob, play Bloodborne and make us a live action adaptation.
Looks phenomenal. Quick question, has Aaron T. Johnson changed classes or something? 'E sounded a bit more street back in the Kick Ass days...
He's older now lmao I know exactly what you mean!
Wow I just realized it's the same guy!
But Eggers made one mistake. Nosferatu is supposed to stand out because of his height, and he chooses a tall actor like Nicholas Hoult to play next to him.
I'm sure the movie will be crap and not scary at all.

Everyone who’s seen it so far says it’s amazing.
I disagree
Same, I'm worried its going to be his least historically accurate and most unoriginal film
First comment! I win! 😂 Hahahaha!
Win what? The biggest loser award?
