I am someone who struggles with an autoimmune condition and reading is not something I get to do a whole lot of. I appreciate the time you take to put together content like this and I’m already two chapters in your book and I think I’m gonna enjoy it.

Hello, I'm reading again the first book and I have a few questions. 1. When she is talking for the first time with Elena, she tells her that someone made her come to the tomb, to both of them. I don't remember if they say who later. Was it Nehemia or Cain or someone else...? 2. Who is coming to get them? The gargoyles? Or other the evil things that we see later in the book? 3. "She heard a faint voice cry from behind her, almost in sudden realization and anger" what does this mean. Any theories to who the voice belonged to? Why was it angry, what did it realise?
1. I don't think we entirely know who sent them both there. We might learn more in later books, but to me, it is more like the "threads of fate" Celaena mentions a few times-like it was their destiny to meet. 2. Queen Elena says it's the gargoyles that guard the portal between worlds, which are connected to the things we learn about later in the series. 3. Pretty sure it's Queen Elena's voice behind her. I don't think we know what she sees that makes her cry out. I assume something connected to the creatures or the other world, but I'm not sure. This scene is pretty vague and I think we learn a lot of context for Queen Elena in Kingdom of Ash!
honestly i needed this when i was first reading it bc the world building was A LOT on the first read. i’m on book three and still don’t totally understand wyrds or wyrd keys
SJM leaves a lot of world building stuff that you won't understand until later in the series. I don't think she really reveal the full understanding of the Wyrd until the 6th book! But it's so exciting when it all starts to come together!
