  • Scientists have discovered an unmistakable language within all living things. Like a miniature library, DNA stores piles of information in extraordinary molecules that specify the details of everything from the shape of flower petals to the color of your eyes. A supremely intelligent Author and Life-Giver left His indelible message in every living thing.

      @@ChemysteryKids This has nothing to do with free will. This has to do with God's method of hereditary passing down a sin nature cue to a corrupted creation. Obviously a 'sin nature' was not needed for someone to choose to sin as is evidence by Adam and Eve along with the angels in heaven rebelling. They managed to do that without an inherited sin nature.

    I've always wondered if we are born from evolution, and at some point, we were a single piece of bacteria. How on earth did the minerals of earth with no soul, no form of thinking or knowledge, come together and magically formed themselves to become bacteria, and the complex structure of DNA. These same minerals also somehow invented the language of that DNA. As a Christian, it takes less faith to believe in God than evolution.

    • @guitart4909
      @guitart4909 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chemical processes don’t require a soul to function though. Fire still burns, oxygen still causes rust. Most of the chemical reactions or mutations within DNA don’t yield an advantage, but when it does, we call it evolution. And evolution is very real. But it doesn’t answer why matter behaves the way it does. Or whether there is a being that assigns these properties to matter. But it’s not logical to invalidate a process by equating it to magic, while simultaneously believing in a magical entity or God. God has historically been a placeholder term to explain things we don’t yet understand. And it is much easier to believe God as a cause vs understanding quantum mechanics. But the easier understood premise isn’t necessarily the most accurate one. You can’t use the tools of the natural world (science) to prove or disprove the existence of a being that is outside the bounds and laws of the physical world (God).

      Evolution does not try to answer that question, how did life first become a thing. However, with more deep sea discoveries we have more and more clues. Volcanic vents spew chemical soup into the oceans, making a perfect storm for proteins and eventually basic life to be created. Or maybe not. Maybe God made the first cell. Evolution doesn’t NEED an understanding of the origin of life to work, we can see it work, it does work, regardless of the missing pieces

      Except binary isn’t as error prone as DNA. DNA itself is not the key, it’s a passive lifeless molecule. It’s the proteins that are made from it that are important. It’s the proteins that look after the DNA, by replicating and translating the DNA sequence. Living organisms don’t work like our computers, they are more analog than digital.

    Thank you for the nice surprise. Talking about language, did you know that the Hebrew word rendered soul is nephesh, נָפַשׁ which comes from the verb, naphash, which means 'to refresh'. All living things have a refresher. I think that refresher is a great descriptive term for DNA. Thus, Jesus told his disciples not to fear those who can kill the body but not the refresher, and that even the hairs of their heads were numbered ... Matthew 10:28-30. So God retains the information of your DNA / Refresher.

    • @davidm4566
      @davidm4566 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe I can help. DNA is very malleable. We are given flexible genes that change over time.
      It's "evolution" as in change, but there are limitations of what DNA can do.
      Also, new info generally doesn't happen. Natural selection tends to be a reduction of existing code that ends up helping the population.
      Like, if a beetle loses the information for wings, and it somehow helps them survive better on some ecosystem, but it doesn't make the information for new, functional wings that didn't exist before.
      The biggest example is bacterial resistance to antibiotics.
      Antibiotics trigger cytolysis (it makes the cell disintegrate) in bacteria. When bacteria are immune to an antibiotic, it's because they had a mutation that didn't have the gene to melt when contacting antibiotics.
      So they didn't react in the normal way. When all the normal bacteria die off leaving the mutants, they reproduce leaving the population stronger.
      That's natural selection, but the bacteria didn't evolve into a super version, they just basically mutated to not have an allergy.
      So is that evolution? Yes, as in the population changed over time, but no, as in it didn't really become something new. The pollination just no longer has an allergy that the species used to.

      They adapted, but through human interaction. And how much further can they adapt? The answer is only a small amount of adaptation before reverting back to single cell organisms. This is only achieved in lab studies not in natural conditions.

      What you are referring to here as evolution is actually hybridization or a rearranging or deletion of EXISTING genes. This can be a response to the environment (natural selection, like Darwin's finches) or the result of an intelligent director (German Shepherds or Shetland ponies). It is possible because of the incredible genetic latitude God built into our genes to begin with. This is micro-evolution. But these all have dead ends - they can only go so far. Dogs can only get so big or so little; beets can only get so sweet. These traits were all built into the organism's original genome. All the hybridizing in the world can never produce new species. This is well documented with the fruit fly.
      But to produce a new, previously unknown novel species! Now that would be Evolution with a capital E! ... Darwin's dream come true! To get this result requires irrational thinking, like the "Hopeful Monster Theory", or "Punctuated Equillibrium"!
      Realize that all this DNA is useless without an operating system ... information, which in a non-physical entity. There is no evidence that nature has ever produced a single bit of information, much less the encyclopedic volume necessary to run the simplest form of life. To do this requires an intelligence far beyond what we can even imagine. Or some more incredible irrational borderline psychotic thinking ... that would be your "Panspermia" theory.
      I humbly submit to you that the only reason to believe such balderdash is to insulate yourself from a Holy God Who requires the acknowledging of our immoral behavior, repentance from it, and placing our faith in Him.
      Only in Him will you find perfect peace ... and the answer to the origin of life and its divine diversity.

    Very interesting Ken’s story about the evolutionist putting the 26 letters of the alphabet and randomly pulling them out, spelling a 3 letter word to “prove” evolution. It seems to me, the problem with this illustration seeking to prove evolution is this;
    the cells in all living things are made up of DNA. To put it in terms of letters, each strand of DVA is made up of nearly 3 billion letters that all have to be in exactly the right order. For evolution to be true, the evolutionist needs to pull not 3 letters, but 3 billion letters out of a hat, all in exactly the right order and all by random chance. This could not be done in a trillion years!
    The complexity of creation shows us there must be a creator.

    • @Woopor
      @Woopor 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      But you’re wrong, see. Chemistry don’t have to pull all those 3 billion strands out of a hat, it only had to pull around 4000 molecules out of a hat, and it had hundreds of attempts, each yielding thousands of results from one pull. Once those 4000 letters finally WERE pulled, there was no more pulling letters from hats, since there was already a successful organism. And that successful organism reproduces, and its fittest offspring survive to reproduce more than its siblings, and their fittest offspring reproduce more than the weaker ones, and their environments naturally select the most fit organisms, which happen to be the ones with specific DNA that’s more complex. You seem to grossly misunderstand how long even just a million years is, which is more than ample time for ancient earth to create a primitive cell. And you also seem to forget that there were BILLIONS of years between that barely alive, simple cell and us

      If there was no God, then it would beg the question, How does information/instructions on how to build something develop at the same time as a process that can also read, understand, and process the information into real world things like muscle and cells?
      And where did the DNA information come from? Where did the building materials like atoms come from?
      And how is DNA made from the building blocks of protein, when DNA codes for protein? In other words, how are the original instructions for the material made from the same material it codes how to make?
      If we closely examine it objectively and honestly, none of it makes any logical sense to have developed by itself.
