The best time to go to Ghana is December known locally as Durty December where they have the African equivalent of Glastonbury every year where not only do the biggest black musicians play at the festival but they go to have a holiday too. Last year I saw Dave Chapelle and Chance the rapper in Ghana and Beyoncé and Idris Elba was there the year before. It is one of the big up and coming tourist places in Africa due to the country being stable, people are extremely polite and it has one of the fastest growing economies and could easily become the Dubai of Africa in 30 or 40 years, if they sort out the roads.
