I had Open Heart Surgery 14 years ago ( no pain pill ) shortly after that I got Cancer in my right inner thigh UCSF took out a 4 1/2 tumor, Plus Radiation super painful when the muscles start contracting ( can't straighten out the leg ) for weeks, No pain meds I rather go through the pain while I heal. I did my own PT for my Heart & my leg before & after the physical therapy could get me in ! hang in there & work as hard as you can without overdoing it. take it to the limit. then just past it as mush as you can. it will get better. next year you'll be jumping rope
