@@jcustombuilds absolutely brother that would be a great help. The only problem I’m having is a lot of the schematics and books I’ve purchased are not very informative on the location of all the wires and where they connect.

@@codykendra1641 do you have an original manual? That’s where it would be. You could possibly get one from Harley of course it would need to be ordered but it would have everything you need.

@@jcustombuilds yes I did. I purchased the original manual. I’ve also purchased aftermarket manuals as well. In total. I have seven manuals. They pretty much share all the same information give or take a few different schematics. The problem I’m having is they don’t share pin locations on the connectors

@@rexburch4146 I just have my stock wheels I took off of my 07 Ultra. They are not chrome tho.

@@Sublime_1 Ive always used the tool but have seen others weld a ring on the inside of one bearing and tap that side out with a punch or flat head and it works well but if you don’t have a welder it can be tough. I’ve also seen someone use a socket to tap the bearing and loosen it enough to get a flathead and work it out, then tap the other side out. Use some type of lubricant to help the process. You could do it just go easy not to burr the inner sleeve or wheel. Good luck 👍🏼

@@riffraffchoppers Hi there and thanks for your comment. Maybe I didn’t explain it right in the video but because the bearing weren’t centered or lined up correctly the left side caliper was rubbing and off, so after realigning the bearings the was centered and the rubbing gone.

@@jcustombuilds that would have had to be really outa whack to cock that rotor like no way you wouldn’t notice that putting the wheel back on outa whack for that

@@riffraffchoppers it was totally fine before changing the bearings and I used the same spacers and after installing the wheel I could clearly see the right side rotor off inside the caliper, and rotor rubbing on the left side so I immediately knew it was the bearings that were off. After resetting the bearings it was perfect. I guess it was out of whack but I didn’t realize it at the time.

@@mikesbikechannel4387 Hey Mike. Just as good as you could get it. It’s not going to be perfect but close is good. You just want to make sure there is no wobble when you ride it. Just make sure it’s not loose or to tight.

@jcustombuilds I just added a batwing to my 23 Softail Heritage and I have a wobble at high speed. My bike just turned 1k miles and I had Harley do the first service. Do I need to check my fall away?

@@mikesbikechannel4387 Did you have the wobble prior? If not the fairing shouldn’t cause it. Sounds like there’s something else going on especially if the bike only has 1k miles. It’s to new. I’d have a professional shop check it out because they have to go through a series of tests to figure out what it could be. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, it’s something I’d need to test and rule things out to figure out what it could be.

@jcustombuilds no wobble prior to putting on the batwing. It happened at highway speed.

@@mikesbikechannel4387 if you didn’t have it before you should not have it now, because you actually do the fall away with the fairing off. Question: did you use all Harley parts to put the fairing on and did everything fit good and tighten down correctly? It sounds like there’s some kind of imbalance with the fairing which could cause a wobble at high speeds.

@@andrewplowden5085 Hey Andrew, so if the chrome is dirty like weathered or stains I’ll use extra fine steel wool. If they come out clean then I’ll use quick spray wax but if they still look bad I might use turtle wax chrome cleaner, it works pretty good. I hope this helps.
