    Now i have given up on the way we treat our cities lol, we don't have lanes on our roads like any sane city would have, people sell stuff everywhere its insane, cars stop everywhere, nothing works properly and for years its the same picture we see while some cities around the world are taking drastic steps to develop and revitalize their cities and countries at large.

      😂😂😂😂😂 you tire abi? That's Lagos for you!
      It does its own thing, like an ingrained bad habit, it's difficult to shake off!
      Who knows? Maybe someday we will get it right!
      But then, maybe that's what makes Lagos tick ✔️!

      What really pisses me off are the open drainages and no side works on major roads, like why???

    Lagos is accommodating to everyone, unlike Agulu in Anambra state.

    • @Southernview3k
      @Southernview3k 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Still, Lagos is federal government property. Lagos belong to every Nigeria. Who are you accommodating in Lagos build for federal government with public fund?

    • @hamzasahabomagaji4128
      @hamzasahabomagaji4128 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Southernview3k Anambra state also belongs to every Nigerian and it is federal government property, but due to the nature of people there, it become unbearable for non anambarians to find accommodation there, more especially Agulu.

    I wish the rest of" Lagos island" look like marina and tbs , e.g broad street area and all, all those Chaos need to be cleansed and the city returned to what it used to be.

      It's going to be difficult! You have people in the neighbourhood around these areas very quick to claim they are Lagosians, but they are very slow to embrace modernity and apply innovations that will make the place progress!
      Calabar and Uyo are doing a bit better, one day they would be the Nigerian cities of the future.

      @@aframaco9491 Lagos has a lot of potential too, all this problem can easily be fixed in 4 years i say, a strict governor can easily fix that, looking at cities like Nairobi and Addis Ababa,with how organize they are with far less money than Lagos, Lagos should be competing with Johannesburg at this point . Everywhere is chaos, street Hawkers and side walk kiosk in every Corner chai, everywhere na market for Lagos island.

      @@oluwadamilola6233 Damus, me sef I tire ! Way too many ingrained bad habits in Lagos!
      You are right, Lagos ought to be competing with Joburg at this stage of its existing!
      Part of the problem is that when Lagos lost its position as our federal capital, a cabal have made themselves the Lord and master of Lagos!
      Despite Lagos's huge influx of varied multiple settlers, and despite the rich and varied experiences such migration has brought, sadly the tiny minded cabal have held sway in Lagos!
      They now even have local ( and poorly constructed) shops under the various bridges in Lagos, one of which caused a fire to Eko bridge recently!
      Government needs to push for gentrification and regeneration across Lagos island!
      The Makoko slum continues to grow and spread across the Lagos lagoon , why ????
      I agree Lagos has potential, but I fear those who politicians in the state are so limited in thinking and so myopic and visionless to make any impactful changes!

      @@aframaco9491 that's why we need to vote in a new party in Lagos, we need order . I saw videos of Nairobi omo i was ashamed, cos it's not even about the buildings, it's just the orderliness in the city, Side walks are actually useful and no open gutters everywhere, imagine if akwa Ibom make the money Lagos is currently wasting. The whole of Nigeria is not organize even the so called planned Abuja(most organized city in Nigeria) but still can't touch some capital cities in africa, i won't even mention north or southern African capital cities
