How did you retrieve the county data? Can you explain? I'm working on my map and added styles and 2dand 3d data.

Thanks. There are many sources for this type of information. Most states have a repository of GIS data that contains population data. Find your "state" and look at the attribute table to see if it has the data you want to map. MD must have a place that they have this data. Download the shapefile or geodatabase and use the techniques in the video. You can also use a "state/county" boundary shapefile (or geodb) and a separate table containing the pop data and perform a relate and accomplish the same thing....hope this helps.

I do not know how to locate or download the geodbase for MD. How would I do that?

Most states have a GIS data depository...try here: data.imap.maryland.gov/

The source of my data is the US Census Bureau. If you are in the USA, most states have a GIS repository at which you can download county data. You could also check out the US Census Bureau and download Census Tract/Block data and perform the same kind of analysis. All you need is a polygon shapefile or geodatabase. Hope this helps!
