    Excellent tutorial! Would you please show how to format a side by side (horizontally) calendar? For my job I need to see Jan next to Feb, March next to April, etc. I struggle at formatting because it's been over 10 years since my classes in Excel. I don't use it much at work and have forgotten almost everything!

    I am really confused on how you are copying it down to the end of the row when you are referring to the days. I am really green with excel.

    • @YAcostaSolutions
      @YAcostaSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, Rev. Sorry this was confusing! I hope these explanations help:
      When I filled in the names of the days, I typed Sunday and then dragged that across the row to fill the other days. I dragged by using my left mouse button to grab the bottom-right corner of the cell. Then, still holding my left-mouse button down, dragged it to the next 6 cells.
      I was able to do this because the days of the week can be autofilled in Excel. Autofill lists are lists of items that commonly follow the same order (days, months).
      These can be stored within Excel. Some are built-in, but you can also add your own lists.
      Then, when you type an item on the list, you can drag to neighboring cells and auto filI them with that list. I have a tutorial on Autofill that might help: th-cam.com/video/fjc2-QzW5fI/w-d-xo.html
      When I copied and pasted the date number, I did it by using the Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut to copy a cell and then Ctrl+V to paste it to other cells.
      I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have more questions. Thanks!

    Love Your Tutorial! 👌 I'm hoping you will be able to help me create a one-month page, 6 x 9, with Year, Month and Days Blank to be filled in after being printed..
    (6 Weeks. 7 days). I also need to fill in each day with the same information, leaving the last four spaces at the end of the month to add Clip Art Pictures... I hope I have been detailed enough with this request... Thanking you in advance. 🤗 Stay Blessed. 🙏

    How can I remove Saturday and Sundays?

    • @YAcostaSolutions
      @YAcostaSolutions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Edna. You can leave them off. Then, only on Mondays, instead of referencing the prior Sunday and adding 1, you would reference the prior Friday and add 2. Then, on Tuesday, Wed, etc, you would do +1 like we did in the tutorial. Hope this makes sense.
      Also, you can make your days wider since you'll have 2 less 🙂

    How to change cm to inch in page layout...

    • @YAcostaSolutions
      @YAcostaSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Tanusree. You can change this in your Excel Options. Once in your Excel Options, go to the Advanced section. Scroll to the Display section and select the measurement type you want to use from "Ruler Units."
      If you like, I have an article with step by step instructions of how to do this (with pictures) on my website: yacostasolutions.com/measurement-units-excel/
      I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have more questions. Thanks!

    How did you magically fill up the boarders? Is frustrating me 🤦🏻‍♀️

    • @YAcostaSolutions
      @YAcostaSolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. I selected the area that would make up each day, then for each one, applied the "Outside Borders" option from the Home tab / Font section / Borders drop-down. It looks like magic because it was editing magic; I only did a few examples of adding the borders, then cut to the part with all the borders done. Sorry that threw you off, but hope this explanation helps. And thanks for stopping by 🙂

    My calendar when absolutely mental when I tried to drag the column to fit the page. Keeps giving me a calendar that 50 meters wide.
    Edit: God, now you've really lost me with the borders. Fck this. I wish Excel was a person so I could punch it in the face.
