    Basicly it boils down to there is practicing the occult in real life and fictional magic in a story. In a story it is just that, a story.

      The probable danger of playing with something like a magic 8-ball is that we might use it at first as a joke, but then we start to convince ourselves that there's something to it.

    By all means be thorough regarding your subject matter but please don't drag it out and mess about. You go round and round and round without getting to the point. With regards to Harry, read all 7 books before you come to a conclusion.
