In my opinioni, she is the best Zerbinetta ever. Mady Mesplé was a wonderful soprano.

Yes, I think so. Unlike most French floral sopranos, she has a high degree of interpretation of the work, and each of her vocal range has a high appreciation. Listeners won't rush into the soprano part. She never deliberately exaggerate.
How do you write such music?
There is Mado Robin and then there is Mady Mesple. The first is a one dimensional (scooping) canary, the second is an artist with stunning technique and extension.
Gianera John Mady Mesplé had much admiration for Mado Robin (a very humble and generous artist) and took her succesion in Lakmé after her early and tragic death.
olivier ojzerowicz very few are the artists who will actually say what they really think of other singers.
Robin had pretty much nothing to be admired for in terms of artistry and it’s right there to hear on recordings.

Isn't this charity work? It wouldn't be fair to compare Mado Robin to Mady Mepsle in this respect. Mado Robin, and Mady Mesple, are two great Opera Coloratura Soprano singers. They both have something in common, namely the roles they play on both opera and recording stages (Robin and Mesple both play the roles of Zauberflote, Lakme, Hamlet, etc), and you're saying there's nothing to admire about Mado Robin? You don't even have a basis for talking like that. In my opinion, as well as Robin and Mesple, they are both good opera singers, and if you read the French version of Wikipedia for Mado Robin, you will find that Mado Robin is humble and kind. So, at least we have a thing or two to admire Mado Robin. And secondly, in terms of vocal technique, Mado Robin here has a longer vocal range than Mesple! As you know that Mado Robin has recorded many songs, but it is not uncommon for Mado Robin to appear on stage. And Mado Robin and Mady Mesple, just like Reri Grist and Kathleen Battle, Mesple who was active after Mado Robin, took almost the same repertoire as Mado Robin, and Kathleen Battle also took almost the same repertoire as Reri Grist, the opera singer who was active before Kathleen Battle.
