    I totally agree with Willie, we should have kept Neris.

    This hurts, man. I've never seen a whole team in a slump like this before in my 44 years. With the talent we have it's just heartbreaking.

    Jim Crane needs to stop listening to bad advice from his “advisors.” His ego has gotten out of control from all this winning and always wanting a big free agent signing. No one is gonna trade for Breggy. Boras has probably promised him the moon but given how bad his free agent signings were this offseason there will be no takers. This team needs to go back to drafting and developing their own players like they used to.

      Jose Abreu, $19.5 million hitting under .100; Josh Hader, $97 million horrible performance; Bregman $100 million, hitting ~.200? Way too many bad deals. Clean house Jimmy.

    So much for the Astros turning the corner. Still much work they need to do. These Astros need to innovate.

    Don't like Hader saying "it's baseball" bro 9th inning tie game and in a 0-2 count (O and freaking 2) you leave a pitch in the heart of the plate. $100 mil for a relief pitcher and that's his pitch execution?? Also over them talking about "we're gonna be better" just go do it stop talking so much like y'all the Dallas Cowboys. Becoming a glamour franchise and it makes me sick

    On another show, they were saying that everything was going houston Way. This year, it is not. Just note: Seattle has a great pitching staff, houston has been injury plagued.

    The balk was obvious. He moved his front leg before he stepped off the rubber.

    The Astros have some pitching and still can't win. JV has pitched well and they still lose. the problem is the offense doesn't know how to score runs consistently. It's been a problem since 22 at least. Probably since 2020, though at least that team had an excuse.

    The issue here isn't coaching related its the players. This team is playing exactly like last year very inconsistent with the pitching being terrible last year it was bad with maldy to so that isnt a problem. Pitching it still a problem bull pen blowing games this is a player issue. Players need to play better offense is very inconsistent at times because we are one of the worst teams hitting with runners on base. Our pitching is awful

    nobody wants to say it, but bregman should be hitting 9th and yordan is batting like a 7 hitter. realistically with how the season is playing the top 3 should be Altuve, singleton, tuck,

  • @texandy89
    @texandy89 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    Astros should've kept Hector Neris Stanik and Phil Maton if we kept these pitchers maybe we would be in better position but we let them walk and also our hitters some of our hitters suck Jose Altuve is producing by far the best with Kyle Tucker and some others but Bregman won't be getting the money he is looking for Hunter Brwon should be in the bullpen

    • @dragonlady6232
      @dragonlady6232 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Breggy not playing well enough for a big payday. He peaked several seasons ago and no longer plateaued but on the decline. Hunter Brown needs to go to AAA to work things out.

    • @texandy89
      @texandy89 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@dragonlady6232 I would agree with Hunter Brown going to AAA to figure things also when the Astros had no GM at the time Astros made 3 stupid things fireing their GM and then getting Jose Abreu and Montero even though James Click was not always on pair or slow to getting players but I mean he Won you a World Series I have little faith in the GM now as well. I think also it has to do with GM can't do his job with out having Bagwell Reggie Jackson and Biggioe there.

    Astros will have to sell Kyle to a playoff team if they don’t get it together.

    People forget about Michael Brantley, yet another bad signing. Yes I know it was only a 1 year deal, but if the Astros want to be good again Jim Crane HAS to stay out of personnel decisions. Hire the right GM, scouts, front office people, analytics guys and let them do their jobs.

    I love how Lance talks about his feelings in this podcast. Nobody cares if you feel like it’s a comeback season or not. How about you objectively focus on reality instead of your feelings?!

    • @seanheflin6690
      @seanheflin6690 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The objective reality is that the Astros are 12-22. I’m not sure what other objective reality is needed to show that this is going to be a REALLY tough hole to climb out of. Getting back to .500 ball, let alone a winning season will be tough.

    Clearly, Bregman needs those trashcans to be anything above mediocre. Just look at his numbers before and after 2019 when the whole baseball world discovered he is an arrogant cocky cheater. Trade him if anyone will bite or just let him walk after the season mercifully comes to an end. Bregman is the most overrated player in baseball and Hader might just be #2.

  • @earlyriser2639

    Maybe some new trash cans and a signal scanner would help? Karma
