I am a RE/MAX agent and I was at this concert in Vegas. I had not followed Journey for a long time. By conincidence, I had recently conducted a business trip to the Philippines. Oddly enough, while I was there I was struck by how many people have amazing singing talents. So, when I first saw this guy on stage, instictively I thought he was from the Philippines. If you are a Journey fan, you will not be disappointed. THIS SINGER WAS AWESOME!!!

Im not Pinoy 4 of my best friends from HS are and we attended the concert together. We went to HS at Clark AFB in the PI and i feel the flag waving was more for love and excitement of a fellow countryman fronting one of the most loved bands in the PI. Other than Pacquiao and Arnel can anyone else think of another Pinoy with bigger positive stature? So get off the flag waving its all about the love! Besides a majority of the crowd were pinoy anways & I think its fair they get to represent!

Im not Pinoy 4 of my best friends from HS are and we attended the concert together. We went to HS at Clark AFB in the PI and i feel the flag waving was more for love and excitement of a fellow countryman fronting one of the most loved bands in the PI. Other than Pacquiao and Arnel can anyone else think of another Pinoy with bigger positive stature? So get off the flag waving its all about the love! Besides a majority of the crowd were pinoy anways & I think its fair they get to represent!

However I agree, Journey's new songs will never be a hit on todays Billboard cuz Rock/roll is dead & rap/hip hop rules. But Journey will be a big hit with Journey fans, but more with asians because of Arnel. Even if SP himself were to rejoin Journey, it'll never be the same cuz like U said, everyones past their prime. Arnel being asian allows Journey to market to a HUGE new market that JOurney could never do without Arnel. That is Y Arnel is the BEST CHOICE!!
