I grew up in the 70's and this was the speaker I used along with a McIntosh tube amp. My uncle was president of sales for JBL. My mom sold gave this away to her sister when I left home and she gave it away to someone else. At least I still have the memory of that tremendous sound locked in my brain
Wow. I've gotta get my passport. Between the Mc factory, Audio Classics and this place... the NE United States is like the Mecca for audiophiles. Amazing. Can't wait to hear a pair.
Klipsch has been manufacturing the Klipschorn continuously since 1946 .They did stop production of the Klipsch Cornwall but there was such a out cry from audio enthusiasts that they resumed production of the Cornwall 3. The 70 years of continuous production of the Klipschorn is a outstanding testament to the awesome quality of sound production that Paul Wilber Klipsch designed in the watershed industry event that was the Klipschorn corner horn loudspeaker. JBL Hartsfield production stopped in 1963.
