For the people in the comment section discussing of how this is realistic or not, here's the answer: Yes and no. It all depends on what part of the brain gets hit and if it gets hit at all. Most of the time when someone gets shot and the bullet hits the frontal lobe or the cerebellum (lower backside of the brain), the body will instantly drop like a doll. Does it hit any other part of the brain, the person will likely be able to take a few steps before falling to the ground and then spasm.

Because real people don't? As a matter of fact, often times people stay standing and fighting after getting shot multiple times. So yeah, you're wrong.
not all the time. Adrenaline can keep someone fighting if they are shot in less critical areas, but once the brain is hit, they are just gonna drop into a fetal position instantly.
Love turning into a psychopath after completing the whole game with high honor, going from an outlaw trying to do good to a maniac watching people bleed out.
Modded ones go a step further. Always thought GTA 4 was good for that, and they got one for this game that's similar to that engine.. makes them grab for sht like real humans do and stuff like that, makes it look like they are truly suffering... Which is fvcked.
That's what makes RDR2 so great. You can be a total sick deranged psychopath. Like this person has chosen to be. Or a hero that sets out to be good with honor. Oldschool
Yup. I once took a few hours off from killing and whatnot, and simply sat down and played cards with the NPCs and went fishing. It’s nice to passively relax in a games.
@@anotherrandomguy8871 I tried that style of playing games, walked past an npc and greeted him, after our chat I couldn’t contain myself and decided to shoot his legs off and watch him scream
This was uncomfortable to watch. Even though they are nothing but 1's and 0's I've always felt bad if I hit an innocent NPC even on accident. Especially if they react with any sort of sentience like this.
This is the gameplay equivalent of that Matt Damon interview where he talks about Jack Nicholson saying, "But if you leave the camera rolling..." one more time.
Whenever it come to games with ultra realism like RDR 2 I just play passively I start sympathizing with the innocent people and it pains to do bad things.
key word “game” don’t get me wrong i get your comment. i just , for me at least , play as if im in that time period , its just a game , honor doesn’t matter after the main story.. i dont really see a big of a problem if the said people aren’t actually being like this in their real life. as well too to an extent i do feel empathetic towards the things i do.
Everything in this scene was absolutely beautifully realistic until that gunshot. It seemed to have zero "push" to it, her head didn't move at all from the point-blank blast. Then she fell down like a tree, "Timber!"
From what i seen, brain trauma, fatal or not will put you in kind of fetal position. thats why when so many of these people get shot they are curled in balls with their hands and arms kind of stiff. When the life fades away, they kinda stretch out. thats my take on it
The cool thing is there are no pre-set death animations when it comes to shooting people it's all body physics and NPC reactions, with the exception of neck, gut and heart shots.
The reason she stood there for a few seconds is because if you get shot in the head your brain is still alive for a few seconds I’m not sure if this in the game is intentional or not
If it was realistic, the body would drop straight down immediately, folding ontop of itself like a pretzel. It wouldn't slowly topple over like in the movies...
Imagine how she felt watching her husband leave as she was about to get killed

@@maximbalmos4908 that's what i was implying
@@Friggity_Frank I’m agreeing
When you see the russian alphabet, you know it will be something brutal.
Кто тоже удивлен, что увидел русские суб титры у этого чела ?
Love turning into a psychopath after completing the whole game with high honor, going from an outlaw trying to do good to a maniac watching people bleed out.
Most sane red dead player
they gotta keep up the good work on the animations. For a moment there, I almost felt something
Almost felt like he shot her pretty good
There would actually be very little knockback and ragdoll physics and she would drop at the moment she got shot
Dam nothing like striking absolute terror in your vic before killing them
Lmao some people really feel bad and calls you sick for killing stupid NPCs truly weak hearted
The most realistic part of the whole video? The husband being all tough until John pulled his gun out, then he ran and left the wife for dead.
No Not Really Some Would Run Away But Not All
unrealistic becuse irl most wouldn't run away they'd back off, go to neighbour get their own guns and return in numbers.
Rockstar Game's developers are probably still terrified from all the reference footage they must've watched..
animations may not be totally realistic but they sure are striking and give every kill an impact
Yes
Husband really said “get ready to meet your maker” and fled once he saw the gun 😂
I swear I’m not a psycho but I find this type of gameplay very intriguing,
This is why they want to ban video games. Straight up horrific and violent behaviors.
goddamn this game is so realistic i love it
Bro, I don't think I even have the heart to do this to rdr2 npcs because of how real they seem. This was super uncomfy to watch
This happened to me once with the post office man (I was rampaging to release anger) and i just stood and admired the game for a good 15 seconds
This was uncomfortable to watch. Even though they are nothing but 1's and 0's I've always felt bad if I hit an innocent NPC even on accident. Especially if they react with any sort of sentience like this.
That woman was a bit of a cutie.
This is basically what Dutch did in Blackwater
Imagine how realistic gta 6 will be
*She took that unexpected moneyshot like a pro!*
This is the gameplay equivalent of that Matt Damon interview where he talks about Jack Nicholson saying, "But if you leave the camera rolling..." one more time.
i really like your vids foller
thx partner
I'm gonna use it when someone makes me angry like the guy with the racoon hat in valentine's saloon
Whenever it come to games with ultra realism like RDR 2 I just play passively I start sympathizing with the innocent people and it pains to do bad things.
There are some serious sociopaths that play this game.
key word “game” don’t get me wrong i get your comment. i just , for me at least , play as if im in that time period , its just a game , honor doesn’t matter after the main story.. i dont really see a big of a problem if the said people aren’t actually being like this in their real life. as well too to an extent i do feel empathetic towards the things i do.
2 videos in a day GREAT!
YEAHHHHHH
Everything in this scene was absolutely beautifully realistic until that gunshot. It seemed to have zero "push" to it, her head didn't move at all from the point-blank blast. Then she fell down like a tree, "Timber!"
Actually when you shoot somebody in the head, realistically, they would just instantly fold and drop
Not necessarily.
From what i seen, brain trauma, fatal or not will put you in kind of fetal position. thats why when so many of these people get shot they are curled in balls with their hands and arms kind of stiff. When the life fades away, they kinda stretch out. thats my take on it
Arthur: John leave this life go live better
John:
The cool thing is there are no pre-set death animations when it comes to shooting people it's all body physics and NPC reactions, with the exception of neck, gut and heart shots.
Bro I feel bad for the npcs when I kill them sometimes that's what's amazing about this game
Why were u abusing her like that 😂
This is one of those moments in life where you couldn’t give less than two shits about anything in all honesty
Jeez the horror, you should be only doing these to the Murfrees, O'Driscolls, or the Skinners bruh
bro woke up and chose violence
I have to ask, what makes that death after the gunshot more realistic than any other games deaths?
Is it the fact that she walks a bit before falling?
I think it’s the way she fell down
Hint: sarcasm
No, she should wave goodbye and then lie down to make it look realistic.
if you were shot in the brain like that you'd crumple straight down onto the ground like a sack of potatoes.
Depending on where in the skull the shot hit, a person can still move for a few moments
Lol Did she just say "shit in hell?" at 0:36?
Don’t forget to use the varmint rifle for a higher chance of one of those longer lasting deaths
That was a one of a kind
Refreshing to see someone playing as john
The reason she stood there for a few seconds is because if you get shot in the head your brain is still alive for a few seconds I’m not sure if this in the game is intentional or not
That ain’t true at all.
If it was realistic, the body would drop straight down immediately, folding ontop of itself like a pretzel. It wouldn't slowly topple over like in the movies...
