I agree the live mix in these videos always incredible. Just curious if anyone has had the same live experience as me, though, where it seems Plini's leads are just way, way too quiet? Could just be the venue in my country, but that was my impression both times I've seen them.
@@avertentropy Would make one small aspect of the very large job of mixing an entire live band a little bit easier, but that's it. Getting such a clean mix of a full band live, and have them not only be clear but punchy and distinct is not easy and Ronnie consistently does a great job. The mixes for both the live recording for online distribution, as well as the live mix in the room, are both extremely good.
Awesome song Plini, one of your classic I hadnt listened to in a long time. And I must say you play it cleaner in this live version than in the single version I just listened to once more : this is awesome, your technique which was already amazing is so gooood now! Cant wait to hear your new songs ❤ (Btw I would be unable to come close to your level of technicity, no critic here!!😊)
The vibe of the video wow thank you for this gift 💗 waking up to hear this✨️ It provides me an intensity of beautiful emotions in my heart i can't explain it's deep when hearing this music this rythm 🎶💘🫶💞 a reminder as if we were still there to relive that ✨️🌠💖🌌🌄🧭🌅😘
This song blew my mind live. I actually got kind of emotional hearing one of his earlier songs he probably wrote in his bedroom years ago but now touring the world and making a living out of it. Amazing song!
What a great comment about reflecting on a journey like his! It's funny, I've thought about similar contemplations like yours, particularly about Plini, Sithu Aye, and others like them - to go through many trials and whatnot, all the hills and valleys, then come out on top. Theirs is a very good story of hope and perseverance. Also, correct, sir: amazing song for sure! Just to think it all started with a single...(same as I've said about my own musical journey).
@@EtherealLifeRecords Yes, these guys are huge inspirations in their music alone, but their stories make the music even more impactful. How incredible to be able to compose such amazing music and perform it around the world! I was so caught off guard by how this one made me feel live lol
Hearing this ABSOLUTELY iconic song and not seeing people mosh, crowd surf and stage dive just breaks my heart. I know prog has a different scene and culture than hardcore, but how are you not just primally compelled to hit the most irresponsible and liability-provoking front flip off of a stage at 0:57
Plini is waaaaaaaay too good for all that machine gun/sewing maching metal stuff.........I hope he grows out of it and invents an entirely new genre of music ........
That's easily one of your worst arrangements. The beginning parts are indistinguishable, then there's a sudden break to a mellow part for no apparent reason and with no transition, and then it jumps to random bits of (fine) playing just thrown together to take us to the end.
a while ago someone asked plini to rerecord this song in a q/a and he said "what's wrong with the original version :(". hope that person is happy lol
The early bird hears the best songs
Damn time zones😡
Glad they played this one live on the latest tour, I’m wanting to hear salt + charcoal live as I haven’t heard it since 2018
Have always loved this track
The live mix sounds amazing! The video is fantastic as well. Plini consistently delivers top-notch quality.🤘

Love you Plini ❤
one of his most underrated songs imo
I remember getting my socks blown off hearing this live in Phoenix. Just 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 absolutely fantastic.
this is one of my favorite tracks of all time. i love both the original and this version
Love that thumbnail
Songs a classic
insane live mix as usual wtf
they play through quad cortex live so should be easier right?

Loving the hearts on the video he had put in for his fans. I also love that choppy glitchy parts, short and sweet to hear.
omggggg, someday i will get to hear this song and Atlas live 🤞🤞
I heard atlas live when he toured with intervals and animals as leaders
One of the best bands I’ve ever scene live. Would love to hear the wombat and the astronaut get some love live.
I'll grab this chance to wish the whole band a Happy New Year from up here in cold Norway. Looking forward to seeing you up here.
an oldie but a goodie
that's exactly what I needed now
Much respect to Plini ... from New York
You're the guitar God. We love you Plini!
Man... Speechless
You guys are AWESOME! I feel pretty bad missing the tour, can't wait to see you on the next :)
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Amazing song!!!
Straight into the chill out playlist this goes!
Talented is an understatement
Best way to end 2024 and Ring in 2025 . More Plini!
This is the type of jams Plini should be making. Technical, groovy, djenty, djazzy and melodic. The new stuff just isn’t doing it like this.
Plini God! 🙇🏻♂ 🛐
Greetings from Argentina! 🧉
Very Nice !!! Hi from Brazil 🇧🇷
I was so fucking happy to hear you whip out this classic! Litterally the first song I heard of yours back in High School. Thanks Plini
You're wonderful, guys! It's totally awesome! From Siberia with love!
havent listened to Plini in a fair few years. Major Chon vibes taken to the next level. Sounds great
Impressive I searched for this title on youtube by chance the exact same day this video came out. Incredible version
Woooow 😮😮😮 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Honestly his live tone is better than the records and that's not slagging off the latter. Amazing.
❤

Prog Djent Metal Fusion Jazz 😩🙌 Junção perfeita de estilos!!

Saw you live at Complexity Fest and you're still one of my absolute favorite artists to see live. Hope you come back to europe soon!

That drum solo was mad.
Heck yeahhh this version reminded me of LA tour with AAL🤘
practicing this song rn 🖤
locura qla insanaaa ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I feel like this live mix doesn't do the song justice, as amazing as it already sounds here!
Clicked so fast 👌
Very nice version…!🤤
4:3! nice :)
IDK why but, it's giving me some good ol' Chon vibes. 😊
CHON is my favourite band of all time, and I'm old as FK boiiiiii
I disagree with your comment, but I love you because you probably love chon too (:
I guess not for nothing but this was more contemporary with Chon as it came out originally in 2012 I think?
And I can see what you mean fwiw ☺️
Vsauce is killing it on those drums
👍💪👌
Heavily tangible
Hi from Australia 🦘 - you're pretty good at this guitar thing!
I remember sean lang doing a drum cover of this song when it first came out, and now he drums for kardashev, pretty neat
It was a pleasure to have been at one of the shows in this video
You guys were immense at ArcTanGent boss! \m/
Plini’s Chon-like song
Come to Indonesia please!!!!
Ah good morning
So glad he's playing this live again. An old song of his, but man I love this style so much more than the newer djent-ish style on his latest EP
shit slaps.
what about 'Orm'? that is the hidden banger
"Not gonna be as active in 2025" Anyway have more sick content. This guy deserves a holiday
⭐️🔥🇦🇺🤘
1:03 Jake fancam Jake fancam
come to Mexico please
I'm Speechless!
I Love You lol
I am the 38th viewer!
It's like he discovered Chon, binged them, then recorded himself doing an inspired jam and likde it too much to NOT work it into his own thing haha
got to be here early

Where's the live album
CHON style activated...
Speedy
Can't beleive this was done live. You going to do Numbers also? You know. Your credit card number or whatever it is
Plini is waaaaaaaay too good for all that machine gun/sewing maching metal stuff.........I hope he grows out of it and invents an entirely new genre of music ........
Im late, not so early
if you do the song Waterfall as a throwback one of these days I'll shit
Who is the other guitarist?
Jake Howsam Lowe
🖤🫶🏼🤙🏻
Different key?
d-!-b 🍄👽🇨🇴✌🏼
that guy in brissy who gave you 10$ to play moonflower really got his investment back huh
pliini got bigger or guitar got smaller?
they lowkey always look so bored when they're so into it LMAO
This is basically a fan cam, not a music video

CHON but Proggier
Nah, don't think so
Sounds like a click track. No thanks
Umm, I literally just wrote this song like 2 weeks ago. Can I please have some money?
