Since the core support is lacking a welded nut and you have a welder... when the nut and bolt are tight tack weld the nut in place and bam there you go welded nut 😜

It depends on what injectors you use. Obdo injectors yes they need the resistor box. But they used obd1 or OBD2 injectors with no box. U can run an obd0 ecu with obd1 or OBD2 injectors you just gotta delete the box

I ran an OBD0 ECU pr3 in my DA with a gsr build running OBD1 dizzy all I did was re pin the ECU and was able to get vtec working and car running amazing! Also check grounds.

I know you guys probably know this but you had A1/A3/A5/A7 written backwards on the tape on the valve cover. A1 is injector1, A3 is injector2, A5 is injector3, and A7 is injector4.
They sell also a jumper cabel for the distributer for obd 0 to obd 1. I got a d16z5 obd0 butt its running obd1. Obd0 injectors.obd1 distributer with jumpercabel. engine harnes obd0. And a chipped p06 obd1 ecu with jumpercabel. ✌🏻🇳🇱

Also i might be the ecu if the cel stays on or u may have a code.. did u try pulling codes before u ruled it 100percent the ecu.. id pull codes and see if it lets u pull codes to confirm it.. especially with a chopped up harness..

I believe that when ever you go obd1 dizzy plugs it needs to be obd1 at ecu so obd0 to obd1 jumper harness with obd1 ecu and obd1 dizzy should solve starting issue obd0 ecu won’t work with obd1 dizzy
They have jumper harnesses to alleviate that problem you know
