Glad to see you post again Kurt….I like others were concerned all was not well. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and an even more joyous New Year. I would love to follow your projects with the new loft and the birds Kurt. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Kurt I loved seeing you race your birds the excitement you showed was priceless and now it’s time to move on 😢 great job 😊thank you from Washington DC
Sorry to see that you had to go this route due to your losses, but I wish you all of the best mate and I would like to see your progress in your new endeavor. All of best mate.
Glad to see you post . Sometimes life takes us in a differnt direction. It was a hard slog for you with the falcons . Going back to a smaller Loft may be just what you need ( for now ) to create the excitement and passion again. Best wishes xx
Hi Kurt I totally agree I’m on the same path and have given up racing and am absolutely enjoying keeping my pure whites and yeah pigeon life balance I’m in the same boat three boys very busy
Hey Kurt miss the videos, I would like to see more videos again even if it’s like 15-20 min video every other week just a little update would be awesome!
Your right kurt we all keep birds for the enjoyment but there is none in racing it's just push push the whole time get back to the small loft where you feel comfortable and happy mate thanks for the update happy new year
Kurt, please post when you can. I have learned alot from you. Here in Virginia hawks are really bad I can't fly during colder months. The falcons are not too bad. If you can, post some of the building process of the small loft because I for one love the ideas and you have great carpentry skills. Thank you. . .
I would love to see your upcoming videos. I'm on a similar path but for different reasons where my decision is for less pigeons & just OLR & non pressure loft flying or tossing. Chronic illness & troubles Flying my pigeons in a club.
Ah there you are Kurt the best pigeon man in Australia 🦘, Kurt it's hard to get rid of the birds, it's a great idea to make the flying loft smaller, once your happy that's all that matters, Kurt you had some great birds did you sell the best of them, we'd love to see you on here with the small loft thank God you said that, looking forward to the MANEY LOFT RACING PIGEON's, 🇮🇪 DUBLIN 🇮🇪
I feel you on hawks, we have it very hard to train young highflyers as soon as I have a great kit going hawks destroy a good bunch. Unfortunately that's how it is in Australia. I got 23 moulting now so hopefully I have 15 worst case flying after the moult
Glad your back online sorry hear your giving up racing orl is the way forward for you less stress nothing so bad as breeding Young birds to be savaged by birds of prey breaks your heart best of luck for the future
Keep making the videos you have built a huge following be a shame to stop now . The best days were at ure old place 3 or 4 pairs in the little shed . I’ve followed since day 1 can remember Samir raven snow
I watched all your videos from start. I Hope you find more pleasure in pigeons with breeding for OLR. Maybe one day when the time is right you go back to racing. Best off luck and thanks for all the videos gr from belgium
I'm worried for those selected birds cuz even if you reduce your flock for just having fun and enjoying, the main issue wasn't the size I think it was the falcons if your had good returns you would still be doing it wouldn't be this disheartening. If you let those few out like how u plan and falcons get them won't that hurt more and offset the pairs.
What happened to all your birds ??? Yes I know some got eaten by hawks but the rest ? I think you just need to train them hard and better feed for them. Train them harder so no messing around and flying around so they need to listen to you . Better feed so they can out fly the BOP.
I am confused. You say you will only be racing Pataya birds because the falcons are devastating your flock. How will you train the Pataya birds if the falcons are devastating your flock? Won’t they devastate any birds you put up to fly for training? I don’t see the difference between local flying birds and Pataya birds when it comes to the falcons decimating your flock.
Glad to hear you and the family are doing well Kurt! Missed the videos and would love to see the build and the future of the flock.
Maney Might not be The Best Pigeon Man to come out of Australia but he’s definitely the Most Charismatic and Interesting 😎
