  • On July 21, 2022, a massive incident took place that I never thought could be undone due to a serious error on my part and had seriously negative results for a brief period of time. Today, it's finally time to sit down and talk about when DoubleZWWE got hacked 2 years ago, the effects that it caused, and how it got resolved.

Sorry to ask, but judging by the scar not being properly placed over your eye in the pic, I'm guessing that's...AI crap?

@@ThisIsCSDX I didn’t tell the software to put a scar in there, looks more like red face paint of sorts than anything else.

@@TheDoubleZTV So, why use AI when, and this isn't meant to be some dumb guilt trip thing, but why use it when it's not only further damaging our environment with how much electricity it uses, but also is completely reviled and despised by tons of people as well as actual artists?

The only thing I use AI for is for images for my thumbnails. I'll take bits and pieces from specific bits (like an image that looks somewhat similar to me that Bing's Designer system creates) and put them with other images to make a custom overall thumbnail, like I did with the thumbnail for this podcast episode and the internal image of the video.
It's also easier for to me use the Designer Tool for some imagery (rather than scouring for images on Bing and Google to put into Photoshop for thumbnails), as well as it being easier than having people try to get into my DMs on Twitter to get money from me to do logos/thumbnails for me.
While I know that it's not ideal, it's easier and more cost-efficient for myself. I can use the tool to generate images that I'll include in thumbnails to have a feel for all of my uploads and not have to struggle to get work done for this channel. Easier than having to constantly pay someone for artwork for the channel, especially if things are tough on my end in my personal life.
And I understand that people have an issue with AI, completely understandable. With my case, I'm not using AI to deceive anyone (like using AI to make a custom video game cover and fool people into thinking that a video game is being made that doesn't exist). It's purely for the purpose mentioned above and some fun on social media, like if I want to have an AI generated image of someone that looks like me giving a reaction to use as a response on Twitter for a little laugh.
There's honestly no deceptive/malicious intention on my part with any of this. It's the only use I make of AI when it comes to content creation, period. Everything else (like putting the finalized images together in Photoshop, recording audio, and editing videos) is still done manually by myself.

@TheDoubleZTV The problem here, though, is that using generative AI to make art is not only costing actual artists money(I mean absolutely no disrespect or offense, but if it's too expensive for you to commission artists, then wither find a way to spare for it, draw it yourself, or just don't have any pic of you for the video), but there's a ton of legal issues linked to it.
Generative AI literally steals from other artists to the point that some people got AI "art" that stole from other AI "art." Theftception, if you will. You could end up finding yourself in a legal matter you otherwise shouldn't be in.
Ntm that, again, using AI for this sort of thing is hurting the environment so badly that Google has claimed recently that they failed to meet their goals on keeping the environment safe(I forget the exact wording they used) because of the AI usage.
When it comes to using AI and ChatGPT for something that wouldn't cost anyone a commission or anything like that such as how ScottFalco uses ChatGPT for their OC Cyborg-Chan during live streams to "talk" to them in real time, I don't see an issue. Ntm that art from artists have soul, don't have many mistakes in it like AI "art" does(ex. hands), and is far more appealing to look at.
If anything, I'd suggest you take a pic of yourself to put in the thumbnails, like how I do, if you really need to have some form of you in them but can't do any other means for a drawing of you.
Besides, I noticed the barbed wire isn't even on your arm right, either.
