Thank you, I have to study for my midterm and we have to label all the bone, landmarking, and sutures, this was my first run-through of the video and I already feel less overwhelmed.
You're very welcome! Happy to help! Here's my full skeletal playlist if you need (at the end of the list there are verbal quizzes and there's also one that's study tips) Skeletal system: th-cam.com/play/PLBM7jL93Kc2QJa_kN6fP_le3qUJ1E4iHM.html
Thank you so much for these videos! I very much appreciate your tools to remember and the fact that you highlight the structures! I also appriciate that you give definitions for the root words
A fissure is an open crack. In the context of skeletal anatomy, there's only two I can think of: the superior and inferior orbital fissure. A suture is where two bones are "stitched together" by collagen fibers with no opening in between them. All the examples are in the skull.

What is the difference between a suture and a fissure?
A fissure is an open crack. In the context of skeletal anatomy, there's only two I can think of: the superior and inferior orbital fissure.
A suture is where two bones are "stitched together" by collagen fibers with no opening in between them. All the examples are in the skull.
