- Learn the bony landmarks of the face, including those on the frontal bone, maxillary bone, and mandible as well as inside the orbits, nasal cavity, and oral cavity
Correction: Both the alveolar margin and the alveolar process refers to the border along the edge of your teeth! Turns out that I learned it wrong when I was taking anatomy and I've been teaching it wrong ever since! Oh well, pobody's nerfect :)
Mistake: When I point out the alveolar processes and alveolar margins I describe them as being different things (This is how it was taught to me!) However, they're actually terms for the same thing... Just the part of the bone that is next to the teeth. Thank you to the student that wasn't too shy to point this out to me!
Just wanting to make sure, either term is correct for those points? And there is no term for the u-shaped round part vs. The points? Just checkin! ❤️ 😊
@@karawest8524 correct!
Great! Thanks!
I’m probably going to have to watch this playlist a million times before the exam. Thanks again for making it all make sense 👍🏻
I love your videos! I aced my histology/ integumentary system exam yesterday!! Watching your videos and listening over and over to your explanations just really cements the facts in my noggin!! 😂😊
I have an OP tomorrow for massage therapy and I feel very confident going into it thanks to your videos. I'm putting time in with my textbook but I find your videos to be very clear and easy to follow. Thanks a bunch!!
You're welcome! Good luck in your studies!!
@@AnatomyHero I got a 93 and a 98 on my last 2 OP's!!
Your explanation was so great and really helpful to me. Thanks.
Glad to hear it! Here's the rest of my bone playlist if you need it! th-cam.com/play/PLBM7jL93Kc2QJa_kN6fP_le3qUJ1E4iHM.html

You’re amazing! You’re my lifesaver thank you so much !
damm this group of videos is excellent !!! thank you!
That's such a nice comment! Thank you...I spent a long time thinking about how to present it in a manageable way!
I was having a difficult time memorizing the bony landmarks of the cranium for my A&P practical exam but since watching your videos over and over again I feel confident that I'll score well on the cranium section. Do you have videos on the Axial Skeletal System?
Here's all my skeletal videos: th-cam.com/play/PLBM7jL93Kc2QJa_kN6fP_le3qUJ1E4iHM.html
There are verbal quizzes at the end! (Basically just me pointing to things and giving you time to think about the answer) If you try that and have difficulty getting the answers the first time, let me know and I'll give you my best study tips!
I'm mentioning that because sometimes students THINK they know the material when accidentally they have just memorized my video, and then when they're asked questions in a different format their mind draws a blank, But if you watch one of the quiz videos and it's easy for you to think of the terms before I say them.... Then whatever you are doing is working for you!
Good luck in your studies!
