As someone with a brother who works for the city, I appreciate this. Most cities tend to cut the maintenance budgets before anything else. Usually leaving a few guys to do a few dozen men's work. Just a few minutes of work from some good citizens keeps the street safer and the taxes from increasing.

We have better set up Austin. Texas. We have big cuts in the cement leading to a big cement box. They rarely get clogged because big debris falls down.
The street doesn’t not have proper drainage. There should be more drain holes so it doesn’t flood like that; plus the city should pay you for cleaning this because it was their job.
