- Mekedatu and Sangama are beautiful places for a One day trip from Bangalore ,Mekedatu is a place where Arkavathi and Kaveri River together fall as a waterfall.
The best part is that the water was less in the river, which made it worth crossing .
Mekedatu is situated in Kanakapura Road,There is a confluence point where Cauvery and Arkavathi meet, thus also called Sangama .
