I like it when the switch is across the screwdriver. There are such small switches with three positions, with self-return to the middle neutral position. But they have one group of contacts, so they can be used with a motor driver microcircuit, which can be paralleled in four pieces, for reliable power, no additional electronic components are needed. But it is more convenient to control the direction of torsion with one finger. You can, of course, find a switch with a neutral and two groups of contacts, but these are either large in size or the price is far from affordable.

For your own safety please do not hammer with a file. Very brittle metal that can explode when shattering causing pretty serious injuries. Just don't want to see someone get hurt. Very cool build.

I connected the tp4056 and mt3608 module, but there is one issue. it stops if screw is hard to rotate and again I have to attach the charger. then it again start working. any idea to resolve this issue?

Can I use DPDT rocker switch instead of using limit switch?

Yes it will be better than a Limit switch. I had used a Limit Switch on a small drill and kept the same in the tool box. All of a sudden one night it started on its own, it took a long time to figure out where the whirling sound was coming from. : ) The battery had also drained.
Or better add an on/off switch too.
