    I work at a factory that makes precast concrete elements.
    When we have an order including 1/2- or 1/4-turn stairs, I use the guide function alot, as each side often has a different amount of edges on the bottom. If the number of edges are unequal, disregarding this will make the face twist on itself. I draw lines from side to side, making triangles where I want 2 end points to meet at a single point on the other side.
    As I use the 3D model to calculate the volume and weight (mass command), it is important that the model is as accurate as possible.
    I DID learn a few new tricks here, so I'll try to explore them next time. :)

    Excellent tutorial!! Very detailed, clear and easy to follow. I found this very useful, much better than other tutorials out here. Thanks.

    @johan fasth , Yes you can make MINOR changes in loft geometry like changing curvature at cross sections but no major change can be performed on it.

    Hi, just curious to know what happens to those path lines after creating, it will be deleted automatically or we've to manually select and delete them?

    1:45 i got a problem friend when i select the smal circle and try to move it up all the shapes move up. why that happens?

    • @sourcecad
      @sourcecad  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +geo summerholder that should not happen! try deselecting every geometry and then select only smaller circle and make sure you follow Z axis as shown in video. Let me know if issue persists

      +SourceCAD i select only the small circle,when i move it up on z direction all geometry shapes movie up. maybe is a problem of my autocad 2016 version i dont know.

    • @sourcecad
      @sourcecad  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      there can be many reasons behind this like you might have grouped all objects together or you may have created them as a block, try to explode this geometry and then try it for exploding select geometries then type X on command line and press enter
