The “no dating rule” just does not make sense to me. When you become an idol, it’s to sing for other’s because it’s your passion. Fans shouldn’t be trying to control their personal lives that have nothing to do with them. The fans that listen to the music can date if they want, why can’t they?!
It's different in western music industry but k-pop world got many immature and toxic fans. They get so obsessed of their idol like they own them. That's why many k-pop idols date in secret to protect their image and their partner.

To protect their relationship and the people they love. Also, the dating ban is really just when they are rookies. Companies want them to focus on their career before they date. It is crazy that she even gets hate for wearing certain outfits (the nurse outfit controversy). So I wasn't surprised, but rather upset that she got so much hate for being together with someone she loved, and had to end it after a month or two. One mistake: they don’t really diet. They eat that they want whenever they want. It’s just that they are conscious about what they eat to make sure that there is always a balance.
I would say they are very conscientious about their physical appearance since a young age and they are surrending by professionals who help and teach them how to keep their physic. It's part of the job after all, like learning to sing or dance, I think they learned how to take care of themselves and to have healthy food habits. Plus, when you eat at a nice cafeteria everyday, it must be much easier to eat well too.

Right! So I didn’t really believe that one. Jisoo even says that before a shoot she ate a lot of ramen noodles in order to puff up her face. Lisa also says she dosent diet at all because she dances and does Pilates. And Jenny said she chose to do flying yoga because it seemed fun, it might seem rigorous to other people but she’s been working out since predebut. I do think there is a rule saying that they have to have a certain scheduled exercise thing but I don’t think it’s heavily restricting because they can obviously choose and as we all know they eat A LOT especially carbs since they are always eating something with rice or noodles. Only jisoo I think has ever dieted and I think she stopped a long time ago, Jennie just cuts out sodium before a stage performance or shoot, but there’s lots of foods without sodium.

If this was uploaded before the album and documentary, this would still have made sense. Yg actually has always targeted on protecting the girls. The mysterious reputation that yg built for the girls actually helped them, one of the reasons for bp's huge fanbase is their concept. Yg imposing rules on them is also for their protection. No dating, no going anywhere without your manager, and no driving are all unacceptably controlling rules in my opinion. It reminds me of Britney Spear's conservatorship where she was forbidden from getting married, riding in her boyfriend's car, or doing pretty much anything without her dad's permission. yg doesn't track blackpink's EVERY move, their managers only go with them everywhere because... they are managers lol. they only go with them to make sure they are safe, I'm sure they don't care what blackpink does as long as it's not dangerous.

If I remember correctly a lot of these rules only apply to the training/rookie period and while on tour. In between promotions some things can ease up but with their schedule do they every get down time?

YGE is running a business afterall not a sharitable institution All company does it. And YGE artists are one of the most highest paid in K-POP industry they both profit a lot with each other.
i'm not hatiing but I think there's 99,9% chance that they did plastic surgery before their debut. A lot of plastic surgeon said that all of the members (but mostly Lisa and Rosé) get plastic surgery before. Maybe they get it before their contract being started. Lisa is totally different now since their pre debut photos. But I mean it without hating. She has a total different face and skin color. Rosé's eyes are more slimmers (there were lot of fat in her eye lids and only plastic surgery can solve it) and jennie's lips (mostly her upper lip) is 2-3 times bigger than before debut. Again I'm not hatiing, but a lot of doctors and experts are said there's no way that they didn't do anything with their apperance. They mostly said that Lisa get at lest 3-4 thing like nose, eye shape, skin color etc.

Just because this wasn't included, Suju's Kyuhyun didn't just get plastic surgery, he had a surgery on his nose due to an car-accident some of the members and him (at 19) were in and he almost died. It caused him to be in a coma for a few days, and he was mute for weeks because of the shock. It was so dangerous, and they wanted to give him surgery through his throat but his father begged for the doctors not to because he probably wouldn't be able to sing/talk again. He got surgery in another way thankfully, and he had like a 20% chance to live. This video made him look like he just got his nose done for looks, but the real reason is very different

That plastic surgery thing is wrong, they can do plastic surgery if YG itself allows it to the individual trainee/performer (which they often do for cosmetic surgery). And this goes for almost every other rule too. Seems like one of those channels that makes videos about things they don't know anything on.

I do think there is a rule saying that they have to have a certain scheduled exercise thing but I don’t think it’s heavily restricting because they can obviously choose and as we all know they eat A LOT especially carbs since they are always eating something with rice or noodles. If this was uploaded before the album and documentary, this would still have made sense. Yg actually has always targeted on protecting the girls. The mysterious reputation that yg built for the girls actually helped them, one of the reasons for bp's huge fanbase is their concept. Yg imposing rules on them is also for their protection. I've noticed young kpop fans are so sure of themselves because they read something. The girls were beautiful before their surgery, and are still beautiful today. For example, I don’t know the name of the male idol that was caught smoking but he got a lot of backlash for that. I don’t want BP to have that same backlash. I’m sure YG doesn’t either for the image of the company. These rules are set to make sure idols keep their image clean. Does it suck? Yes. Sadly this is how it works. This is how so Kpop stans will act if they found out the girls did these things. Especially, with BP being women. They have to keep that image. Again, I’m am not a YG Stan. I don’t Stan no company Kpop company. YG does things that I appreciate. That doesn’t mean I Stan YG. Would I like BP to have frequent comebacks? Yes. At the same time I’m glad YG doesn’t do that. The reason I stopped being K-pop fan is not because of the idols but because of the company. These company treat idol like animals. i'm not hatiing but I think there's 99,9% chance that they did plastic surgery before their debut.
A lot of plastic surgeon said that all of the members (but mostly Lisa and Rosé) get plastic surgery before. Maybe they get it before their contract being started. Lisa is totally different now since their pre debut photos. But I mean it without hating. She has a total different face and skin color. Rosé's eyes are more slimmers (there were lot of fat in her eye lids and only plastic surgery can solve it) and jennie's lips (mostly her upper lip) is 2-3 times bigger than before debut. Again I'm not hatiing, but a lot of doctors and experts are said there's no way that they didn't do anything with their apperance. They mostly said that Lisa get at lest 3-4 thing like nose, eye shape, skin color etc.

Putting on makeup doesn't make that much different, not in this way. Lisa's nose are have a different curve, and shape. Rose's eyelids are so much slimmer, Jennie's lips are two times bigger and it's not make up. It's not make up. There's nothing wrong with it. They are the same person even if they had or not plastic surgery before debut. Only blinks think about it as a wrong thing.

Just because this wasn't included, Suju's Kyuhyun didn't just get plastic surgery, he had a surgery on his nose due to an car-accident some of the members and him (at 19) were in and he almost died. It caused him to be in a coma for a few days, and he was mute for weeks because of the shock. It was so dangerous, and they wanted to give him surgery through his throat but his father begged for the doctors not to because he probably wouldn't be able to sing/talk again. He got surgery in another way thankfully, and he had like a 20% chance to live. This video made him look like he just got his nose done for looks, but the real reason is very different

That plastic surgery thing is wrong, they can do plastic surgery if YG itself allows it to the individual trainee/performer (which they often do for cosmetic surgery).
