    I have huge respect towards Mike Grier, I can't even imagine the hurdles he's had to overcome in his career, Mike more than deserves all the succes he's had.
    The SJS has a special place in my heart and I'm confident Mike is the right man for the job. Mike, you're the man! ✌️

      @@Dirtytanker He might have been an enforcer, but a great player than had two 20 goal seasons and scored 383 points in his career. Great player and teammate. Wish him well in this new role!

    I am THRILLED to have Grier as our GM. This dude is a rockstar. Was an excellent high IQ player who really knows the game. I hope for his success and great things from the Sharks. I literally didn't watch the last 2 seasons because I hated the DeBoer firing and couldn't stand Booger. Very excited to tune in again.

    Grier has his work cut out. The Sharks have a bad cap situation and some unfortunate contracts they're saddled with.

      I honestly don’t think the contracts are as bad as they seem. And the ones signed before Covid Flat Cap wouldn’t look bad at a $90m+ Cap. They definitely need to play better and I think a new coach (Babcock? I have an odd feeling), an infusion of youth (Eklund), and continued improvement from Balcers, Barabonov, Dahlen will have them doing so. This season will be a ‘prove it’ season for the whole team. They’ll get a lot of rest before October, if they heal and are healthy, I wouldn’t doubt a fight atop the Pacific.

      Some of the best hires have been new blood in recent years, whether it's GMs or coaching. Experience is valuable but the NHL recycles old options too much

    • @JP-dm6gi
      @JP-dm6gi ปีที่แล้ว
