I'll update this comment if there're any big changes in PTS future updates:- PTS just updated with following changes:- - Western Star 47X NF1424 now get crane support as well as 1 slot flatbed. crane+sadle & crane+1slot flatbed combos are now possible. - Western Star 47X NF1430 get log crane + short log combo. (patchnotes says medium log addon but its short log only as of now) - Improvements to Tatra Force Towing addon (it was improved in last PTS update too) - PLAD 450 got multipurpose addon and its frame flex is also improved (still on rigid side).
Them leaving Embracer Group has definitely had an impact here, as they're now going back to older maps and trucks and fixing bugs there. Very glad to see them doing this :)
I love the fact that they gave some of the older trucks some love. Especially the custom tires on so many trucks. Step Pike, Crocodile and especially the offline winch for the Warthog. It gives me an actual reason to drive it. Prior I always saw it as an inferior Actaeon, as the extra power is pretty unnecessary as it's a small 4x4 and you won't haul semi trailers with it anyway. It was a bit unstable as well, but now with this upgrade, I can't wait to use it to scout and rescue in far regions. I wish they add low saddle to the Tatra trucks because an European semi like the Phoenix looks amazing to combine with the box trailer mod. Can't wait for the Plad. As one of few European (not counting UK and Russia) trucks, I can't wait to drive it. It looks badass, has some power and the stock tires look beautiful. The scout as well seems above average for a smaller 4x4. Shame about only one new map and I feel like if they did mining, an excavator, dump trailers and dump bodies for the CAT trucks would have been a great opportunity. Oh well, who knows maybe they add it in another season. Great first look, SD1One. Love your content and can't wait to test it all myself on the live server.

This looks really good, honestly. The PLAD looks super fun (adding to my eager anticpiation list, up there with the big Kenny); the various buffs are welcome (especially the Warthog's winch); and I love a mining/quarry region. I finally got back into Snowrunner a month or two ago, and I've been making good progress on Maine. I got a long way to go to catch up, but I still am excited to reach BC.
Wow, the improvements to old trucks are very much welcome! Finally some justice for the Phoenix and Warthog, and FINALLY bigger custom tires for all those trucks and scouts! I specifically asked the devs about this. I love the tendency where this all is going. More excited for the fixes than for the region itself.
I must've commented on the poor state of the tatras regarding the addon situation quite a bit at this point, very cool they finally add the bed + crane to the phoenix, I hope the 813 sees updates to its addon catalogue as well.
Can't wait for this update! PLAD looks legit, larger wheel size on those trucks look so good, and the new live environment i hope keeps getts added in the rest of the year. Been waiting that to come for couple years now.

Im actually very very pleased with the various improvements in this update, rather than just being new stuff! I hope they continue making these improvements, so I might actually buy some of the less-meta DLC!
I had never been excited for any season like for season 13 and I had never been more disappointed of any season when I discovered that this one is one map only... It's bigger than phase 5 two maps combined and better made than phase 7 but still it annoys me... I would prefer if Boring Carolina got 3 maps instead of 4 and if devs put effort to expand season 13

Only way I can see this MINING map being more worth is if they brought custom flatbeds for the big CAT trucks to haul boulders/rubble/ore from the mine and to an objective. Been a few years and that 4x4 giant CAT is still pretty much nigh-useless.
sadly they can't because of season pass... that CAT dump truck was part of season 2 means only people who have bought season 2 would've access to those missions which uses that vehicle... hence it can't be done... Devs tied their own hands
@@SD1ONE But instead of scout they should gave us old Belaz truck similar sized to CAT 770G and with same or similar addons. First, players could choose which mining truck use. Second, Belaz would fit Kazakhstan's quarry like no other truck

If devs were changing tires, they should also change hummer h2 tire size. And finally they should change wheel width for many trucks they has changed when they gave us JAT tires. It is funny like some of front wheels stick out (for example white ws, voron D, loadstar 1700...etc)
I wish they had given some love to tatra 813 too, like more engines/transmissions, and more bed, trailer combos to make it usaful. Autonomous crane is so good to see on warthog which I always liked more than the actaeon except it's stability issues which they had finally fixed in recent updates. Pike and crocodile were already too good for their size now they would act like small taygas for sure. One map region is a first for snowrunner and not a welcomed one.. :/
I'm really looking forward to Season 13. Unfortunately, it's sad that there are no maps in Central Europe. That would be really cool and maybe two trucks from European manufacturers. I think that's exactly what the game needs as a game changer.
yes....pretty much, Although I don't like the idea of sadles with a truck this long because In real life long frame configuration is used for attachments not for pulling semi trailers
I am only judging by their design...there are references of that other vehicle as well unlike previous scouts which are almost fully based on 1 vehicle.
Wow this is awesome! The heavy truck is hideously ugly. I want one so bad. The scout looks cool. Interesting cargo and map. Breakable cliffs look like Kola icy on steroids. Curious if the new DLCs would be additional maps to the same region?
Problem with kola ice was you can tell the difference what ice is breakable but here it's hard to tell which cliffs are breakable which makes your knowlege of map even more useful.
According to your older JAT comparison video, the JAT MSH IV were superior to vanilla OHS II. Did they change something, nerf the JAT tires? I see the vanilla OHS II perform better now.
The suspension at 2:15 looks so wrong. You notice it even more if you play Mudrunner once again or watch real trucks off-roading. I like Snowrunner but this is still a dealbreaker for me.

Honestly not a fan of the trucks this time. I‘m pissed about the scout because Saber literally said that they won‘t add any more scouts to the game and the truck is just a poor choice imo, we just got a really good 8x8 as a standalone DLC and now they are adding another (seemingly) really good 8x8 with the next dlc. I‘d personally like to get some more casual trucks that are on the less good side

breakable cliffs sounds absolutely awesome, i hope they plan on more of these environmental hazards, keeps every map a bit more fresh

Weird, Crocodile was OP in my opinion for dealing with the off road...
In terms of other buffs, apparently the NF1430 can now do Medium Log Bed + Crane, but i don't know if it is implemented on the PTS yet.
The 1430 has been my heavy crane (3-slot) since the crane came out, love it

Nope...2x2 is max size but yeah a big map with 2 garages sounds great.
I think they are going for UMM more than the Stalker, since the description says Southern Europe, and, i assume, it will be in the western shop.

I think the wheels are closer to HZ 46.40/49, and so it the rear spare wheel with the boom arm

I think some maps are there which are highway truck friendly like season 8, 11 and even season 12 has some sections

Nah, That's the issue right now...the noise don't go away also its not in sync with exaust but this is early PTS so they would change it later.

From what I am hearing, they are planning to release 1 more scout and after that no more scouts but I don't know if I can trust their words now.

why can't the trucks / audio of the engin be overwhelmingly loud , or im a little deff on my left ear ,still they dont sound as good as mud runners
