    This is a great idea, I dunno why Honda didn't do this from factory. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey man, I just wanted to say thank you. I followed your steps to the T and everything worked out great. Appreciate you making this video and describing in detail things like which colour wires to splice; etc. Saved me a lot of time looking up wiring harnesses and whatnot.

    I installed mine today. Mine is a 2015 and the lights I got were $60 from AliExpress. Your tutorial was accurate. I soldered my wires together.

    6:08 Why not use top brake light wire that is already installed in the hatch?

    I tapped the brake and tail wires on the left side of the hatch in the rubber loom. Easy.

      What wires did you tap to do that? I used the license plate lights for one set but I still need to do the brake lights.

    Wouldn't it be easier to connect the brake wire to the 3rd brake light in the hatch rather than running it all the way down to the lower lights?🤷‍♂️ Installing in a friend's fit this weekend and doing research. Picked a set up for $45!

    Very helpful. You should make a hood ass autotune track called "what I did".

    There was not need to run red wire all the way down sir. You could have just tapped it to blue wire when you removed the runner grommet at 6:33.i have done same and working pretty fine

    Hello. Do you know how to change the cup holder light? Mine is glowing blue which I think is kinda useless. I want to change it if its even worth the while. Thanks.

    Is it possible to tap third brake light in the top center instead of tapping tail light wire ??

    Hi. You didn't break any clips?

    did you connect the left and right tailights before tapping to the brake lights?

    • @ronsantellano1406
      @ronsantellano1406  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rather then tapping into each taillight I ran one wire from a brake light and tap into the new pillar lights. Now that I look at it, it might have been better to run the wire from the Pillar light to each taillight.

    I'm still confused on how to do this. I want them to stay on not just when I use my breaks and what does it mean to tap into the motor and licences plate light?

    • @derekthornhill9197
      @derekthornhill9197 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The white wire is the running light which can be connected to the license plate light wire. The *Brake light wire is red and can be connected to the 3rd brake light wire in the hatch.
