Driving test is the most basic and difficult step to get driving license and many people don't know that how get driving license or How to pass driving test in Pakistan. In this video, you will learn the exact directions of how to pass the driving license test on a car or bike in Pakistan.
Traffic Police Inspector Iftikhar practically showed that what driving mistakes people usually do when they come for driving try to obtain driving licence. He also showed very simple techniques to do the reverse driving which are very helpful for driving learners.

For those who have to give test
It's all about the technique.
Don't panic.
When u go forward just note the Cone from where u turn,
While Reversing the car, just come back straight to that cone. Once the back side of your car reaches that cone (from where u turned while going forward), stop and turn the staring wheel fully in the direction where it needs to be turned and then start driving the car.
The car will straighten itself, bring the staring wheel to its neutral position and drive back in a straight line.
If u didn't get it, read this comment a couple of times and you will understand

How can we come straight to that cone where we start turning while going forward?
@@bilalshahid9714 u have to remember that cone. See for some sort of indication. Maybe remember the number of that cone( for example if its the 4th cone or or any other sort of identity for that cone).
When u reverse, come back to that cone and once the end of ur car reaches that cone, stop and turn the staring wheel fully and then drive the car . U will successfully make that turn in reverse and then move ur staring wheel to its neutral position so that u go back to starting line without touching any cones.

AlhamdulliAllah i have passed my license test in first attempt. I had see many of people that are failed in these test, the main reason is that they do not turn their car at the right cone. The rules are simple be patient and calm and observe the track. Moreover if the track turn is on the left side,keep the car on the right(the gap of the car between the right cone should be minimum) and turn the car so that the when u the turn the car the distance between the car and left cone will be minimum. When u r reversing the car use ur left mirror and turn the car slowly according to the distance of the cone. InshAllah you will pass the test if u are not nervous.

As a driving instructor in the UK, I can clearly see that this test is no where near to be safe, skilled & confident driver. This is just cutting corners. To train drivers that are safe & skilled, they need to be trained thoroughly & tested on many different types of road & be able to do few Manoeuvres to show their competencies. Establish reputable training institutes, train good instructors to train safe drivers. All the best 👍🙏
When you get a learning permit it means you have to learn how to drive. In every district of Punjab there is a Police driving school where you can learn how to drive.

I am driving since 1983-84 & when i went for the licence at DHA. I passed the sign test easily but when i came out for driving test, the Sargent was placing pins in a tight fit. I told the guy that no one can cross this in reverse. Eventually, all failed. Including myself. Next time after 45 days i went to the test and there was a different Sargent. He placed cones properly and it resulted that mostly passed.

In Canada the test is around 30-40 minutes long, they take you on the highways too ( depending on level of test) and also check your driving skills in real life situations on road. Also you have to turn on road and parallel park etc. Special negative points for not checking blind spots. If you don't stop for pedestrians or are too close to cyclists you fail the test...

Dear In Canada we people paying havey income taxes but in Pakistan we don't like to pay even toll tax so how we can afford 30 40 minutes drive for everyone.

Duration of test was 1 houre and 15 mints and the examiner check every driving skill, although in Pakistan this test is very simple and easy 💚

I watched this video, the instructor said, you would use only mirrors during the reverse process. A person was reversing the car and hit an object because he had not a clear rear view. Let's assume, if the object is a child, how the driver can save a child without turning a neck to have a rear view. The children can hide behind the cars. In Europe, if a person doesn't turn his neck during his driving test, he is definitely FAILED.

I got my driving license from korea at my first attempt. In Pakistan i failed multiple times. In korea we were given point for each right step. All you have to do is to get 80 point out of 100 and you are awarded the license. Here, if you do one inaccurate step, you have to wait for next 42 days.
In Pakistan, there are very few people who apply for the license and on top of it the failing rate is quite high here.
Kindly encourage the license ownership.

In Australia if you fail a driving test you can directly book the next available date which is mostly 2 3 days after the previous date... wtf is this 42 day wait period???

Nice Video, kind instructor, my best wishes to all of you. I will share South Korean Driving test criteria just to compare.
1- You must have to pass the online driving test. You can re-apply even after an hour if you failed to pass the test.
2- Secondly you have to pass a physical driving test on an "automatic transmission gear vehicle" with pre-recorded instructions and navigational guidelines.
3- You are always eligible to re-apply by paying extra test fees.
4-There is no restriction like shifting gear or turning neck etc.
I guess waiting another 42 days rule in Pakistan is not reasonable.

I am retired Army officer, I had civil and military driving licenses throughout, I drove all sorts of vehicles in various terrains of Pakistan while in service, I have driving experience of 45 years, I tried the test to reverse car with help of side mirrors, couldn't, traffic police is corrupt, they do all this to get bribe from applicants, why can't one turn his head and watch rear view from back mirror, second thing is they deliberately keep cones close so that one fails, those who pay bribe or have approach for them cones are placed farther aside, their test is often taken at closing hours, corruption is main reason behind all this test pattern.
Only those who are desirous to get truck licenses to be asked to use side mirrors to reverse, for car and Jeep light vehicles no such condition makes sense

الحمدللہ 12 سال پہلے مدینہ منورہ میں پہلے دن ہی ٹیسٹ پاس کیا تھا اسی دن کمپیوٹر کلاس کی دو بعد دوسری ٹرائی دے کرHTV لیسنس لے گھر آ گیا لیکن 3 مہینے روڈ پر گاڑی چائیے تھی وہ بھی اکیلے جو گاڑی چلائی تھی مجھے گیئر کا بھی پتا نہیں کیا فون پر پوچھ پوچھ گاڑی چلانا سیکھی تھی
In Karachi its so easy to get the license even if you don't know how to ride or drive all you have to pay 5000 Rs. to get the License for bike & Car.
This is a very nice car for test.
I passed in 2019 in Peshawar on 1980’s land cruiser. Peshawar traffic police is giving really hard time by keeping that old a vehicle for test.
The gear change is so hard. The clutch is so tight and above all the steering cutting is almost 50% less than these new cars and very stiff steering wheel.
Shame on Peshawar traffic police department.

This test is far more easier than in Sindh Karachi. There are two tests in Karachi, one is reverse parking as shown in the video and second is parallel parking. And believe me its the toughest of all. only 1 out of 20 are able to pass. They keep cones so much close that without deteriorating your reverse gear and without looking back, you cannot get cleared.

I have had Dubai's driving licence and got my test failed twice in Rawalpindi traffic centre. I never understand the logic why in Pakistan we can't check our shoulders and in UAE and in other developed countries you are mandatory to check shoulders because there is a blind space while driving a vehicle even you use mirror correctly.
2ndly inspector shb is saying to steer your vehicle after stop your car. But in other countries we a prohibited to steer a vehicle while it is stopped.
Hope we will review our SOP's.

One question, though: Why do Traffic Police have to make it a trick test? Somebody who has been driving safely all over the country should NOT be failed just because they need more than one attempt to reverse a car. The real problem on the roads we see is poor lane discipline, poor parking manners, lack of observing traffic lights and one-way rules. Please address those headaches before you want citizens to learn one-attempt reverse stunts.

If you're driving for so many years you shouldn't fail reversing test.
If you can't even pass a simple reverse test , you shouldn't be on the road. What if it was your car instead of that cone they hit ?. And it's not once in a lifetime attempt , you can appear multiple times.

Plus I gave my test at Clifton Karachi, udr seat belt k bhi number hote, parallel parking and then 90° cut reverse hota which is better and harder than the one in video. To facilitate people they should put two different colours of cones in both sides of track one aide red and other side yellow then it ll be quite easy for people to judge the path while reversing the vehicle

I just dont understand how reversing the car correctly will teach you roads ethics, this doesn't make any sense. Driving test should be more practical like going on a road with the sergeant where he will judge you how you behave on the road.

One simple thing, I do use mirrors, but there's a blind spot in the car like my aqua where you are unable to see via the mirror. So turning back is a must, instead of this test they should focus on improving the test to make it a on road driving test.
I drove car 2,3 times but alhamdulallah i passed the test first time.

I have passed driving licence in UK in 2010 and had to pass in Pakistan in 2018 (apparently a European licence is not good enough to drive in Pakistan) and now i am living in Denmark where i had to pass the driving license again in 2021.
I wonder how can people fail such an easy test in Pakistan. If you fail theory, that is another things but practical test in Pakistan is a piece of cake man.
Bro it is not a piece of cake if cones are placed tight. further you cant change gear and turn your neck which is not a crime in general.
It's not piece of cake. It's game of luck. One single inaccurate step, you got to wait another 42 days.

This one time gear change option is also a factor of failure. Usually a single person using mirror do such reverse adjustment with forward backward gear.

Exactly but in Pakistan its more difficult with old fashioned mehran car. I have Dubai's driving licence and failed in Pakistan twice. Sign test passed at first......
What nonsense, the driver should look 👀 over his/her shoulder including using mirrors while reversing for extra checks- while this examiner is stopping them from looking over their shoulders. There is a term called “Blind Corners” which means the areas that are not covered by your mirrors, for that reason you have to look over your shoulders to check the blind spots.

Not gonna lie i have seen the driving test videos of UK as well..they seem to be easy ( fact : parallel parking is easier than reversing your vehicle through these cones without looking back )
@@ilackgames thats just one test, but the whole process, on road test , I am sure you have seen that as well. They can ask you to perform those parallel parking etc on a public road . It looks easy on the videos but on road test isn't that easy .
Why most of the pakistani license holder are bad driver, only reverse driving test is not enough. Please check how they drive on the road
