Flight deck window almost has BIRD STRIKE!

My First Officer was landing in Santiago, North Spain, in our Boeing 737-800. The cloud base was close to minimums, and we almost needed to go around. However once visual, we encountered another problem...a very near miss with a large bird!
It missed my First Officer's window by just a few feet! A birdstrike anywhere in the aircraft is very serious. Due to it's size, and more importantly, the closing speed, it would have most likely gone through the window, killing my copilot.
That's one lucky bird...and one lucky copilot!
