    It amazes me that anyone can have such complete command of their instrument. He picks up the melody, the baseline, Slash’s riffs and solo, and Axl’s howling screams all with one piano. He doesn’t miss a thing that matters! So much talent and dedication to master an instrument. Well done, sir. So awesome.

    She's got a smile that it seems to me
    Reminds me of childhood memories
    Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky
    Now and then when I see her face
    She takes me away to that special place
    And if I stare too long, I'd probably break down and cry
    Whoa, oh, oh
    Sweet child o' mine
    Whoa, oh, oh, oh
    Sweet love of mine
    She's got eyes of the bluest skies
    As if they thought of rain
    I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain
    Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
    Where as a child I'd hide
    And pray for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by
    Whoa, oh, oh
    Sweet child o' mine
    Whoa whoa, oh, oh, oh
    Sweet love of mine
    Whoa, yeah
    Whoa, oh, oh, oh
    Sweet child o' mine
    Whoa, oh, whoa, oh
    Sweet love of mine
    Whoa, oh, oh, oh
    Sweet child o' mine
    Ooh, yeah…

      Thanks! What was your favorite moment of the performance?

    • @dawntie
      @dawntie 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The patient build up, the sudden change from commanding to tenderness, increasing assurance and encouragement, passionate validation ignites confidence , consistent motivation believing in on behalf of the mentor, back to validation. The moment at the end when you feel satisfaction lifting your hands and head like you conquered all the moments.
      I enjoyed you making me analyze. I anticipate you chuckling at my answer.😊

    • @ScottDDavisMusic
      @ScottDDavisMusic  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s a great answer! I think my favorite moment is the first half of the “guitar” solo. The soft part in the upper register. I just love the sudden transition to how tender it is, then builds into the most intense part of the song in the following 2nd half of “guitar” solo. It’s a pivotal part of the song, and I love how the contrast highlights that turning point.

      @@ScottDDavisMusic That sounds like what I meant to say but in music jargon. I do have quite a few of your pieces on my Spotify playlists and "Tahoma" is my favourite so far.

    • @ScottDDavisMusic
      @ScottDDavisMusic  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve not actually played “Tahoma” in a while, and was just dusting it off this week. Kind have having to relearn it at this point, which is fun. Makes me think about it in ways I didn’t when I wrote it. I even notice new things about it.
