Love your new catch and cooks. Hey, technically it was a multi-species day because you caught both pink and black hagi, lol. Catch whatever and eat it--that's the way. Sometimes we just catch toaus, sometimes we just catch hagis, but every now and again we are treated to that nice omilu. I don't remember the last time I saw Kau that green, you can tell that they really caught the rain from the recent storms. Those tacos looked winnahz! YESSAH
I dont mind hagi theres just a lot of them sometimes. I never cooked hagi like i did though I think it'll be my new way till I find a betta one super ono seared. The big one is always right around the next corner thats whats keeps the dream alive always searching for the biggins!
@@thatjuanshow4485 We want to eat prize fish, but there is always a certain satisfaction to cooking whatever you catch. Hawaii's reef fish are tasty and just as good as any expensive fish as long as you know how to prepare them. Look forward to your next vid! AUUURITE
Pretty awesome that many people like my stuff. I definitely think the interaction that comes with TH-cam is pretty cool. Thanks for being one of my long time friends on here appreciate you bro!
That’s beautiful Bro. Man them Hoggies fight like they’ve had a chip on their shoulder for a while, lol 😝 So, not really knowing how big of a fish you might catch, what’s the typical rod length and test line and do you use a braided line? Enjoyed the video Bro, I could almost smell the goodness from here. Thanks for taking us along. Peace, Brother 🤙
I always bring 2 to 3 poles Heavy to light. My main pole I use is 12ft medium heavy and 40 lb braid with mono leader. I use that for dunking mainly and for my whipping pole i use a 13Ft medium heavy with 20 lb braid and mono leader. Your right you never know what you're hooking into sometimes your using your small set up and get a huge strike just gotta be ready for everything. Have a great weekend brother!
