Look at the demographics mate. Under the age of 50 it was a landslide Labour win. Almost all people over the age of 70 entirely voted Conservative.
That can be largely explained by the clear bias in Universities observable both in the US and UK education system. People with a Conservative view are ostracised and shamed for it.
Hardly surprising that now nearly 50% of the country are getting university education they lean towards left of centre parties. Furthermore younger people have always tended towards Liberalism and grown out of it as they age.
If you are not a liberal at 25, You have no heart. If you are not a Conservative at 35 you have no brain.
I guess I have no heart but I'd rather be right.
Ben starmore it’s because Jeremy Corbyn is just really unpopular with large parts of the country

Joe O' Keeffe I think most people did!
LOL indeed
get him on question time the viewing figures will beat strictly
Problem is that he might swear a bit...good telly though!
Question time getting anyone who isn't a Tory sympathiser? Never gonna happen
How exactly will you get him on QT? The man is barely on TV as it is, May was the same and if you cast your mind back Cameron was the same too!
@@dantaylor7344 Remember that guy on question time who thought earning £80k was the 50% line in the UK. Dumbass thought that earning 80k was the average wage of a Briton.
Seriously people on question time are all dumbass Tories
I can only hope Britain is as pissed off with Boris as Jonathan is.
They are not by the looks of it hahaha
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope
y'all got fucked
Haha! Looks like you are in a conservative nation now. Maybe you should to move to socialist germany?

This is the most passionate I've seen him in a long time. Finally drops the perfect diss track on the Tories!
One of the best videos from Jonathan and bang on the money.
I really wish a leader of the opposition would talk like this.
Can you imagine...
Speaker: Johnathan Pie!
Pie: Mr speaker, the right honourable gentleman is a ...
*Technical Difficulties*
Its illegal to talk like this. Look it up it is called incitement. Banned after ww2.
Thanks Jonathan !
you express the anger that I and many other people in this country feel Against these monsters...... If only there were more people like you mate !
All, sadly, true. The bare-faced mendacity of Doris and his tory counts (sic) is unbelievable, at least to anyone with a brain.
I don't understand who was voting for them last time, nevermind now. The poor and downtrodden must be the minority. Otherwise, how could they remain in power for so long.
I just don't know why a person with any sense or conscience could ever vote for the Torys. It honestly blows my mind
well for a start, there's about 17'.5 million of them that believe if they don't then Brexit gets cancelled. If Labour had actually managed to address this elephant in the room properly this last 3 years. then they wouldn't be in the mess they currently find themselves.
Agree or disagree with Brexit...Labour's been soundly undone by there inability to deal with the fallout of that referendum.
Put it this way...without the Brexit question looming large.....how well do you think the Tories would be doing right now in the polls after a decade of lackluster governance ?
@@johntowers1213 If you really think there are 17.5 million ready to vote Tory next week then I've got some bad news for you. The fact is, the idea of brexit being a priority for all voters is an illusion. Most people don't actually care about it anymore as shown by the abysmal turnout in the recent EU elections. The fact that you say it's the only thing the tories have to sustain themselves is likely the very thing that will see them undone next week. In short, the rabid leavers voting for them won't be enough to see them into office, and they literally have no other allies left in Parliament. Labour on the other hand, have various parties around them who will be more than willing to join ranks to keep Johnson out of office.
@@minesbanduk Well... That's one take on it I suppose...but one I personally think will be found wanting on the 13th...Time will surely tell so I'll stick a pin in this till the ballots counted I think.
Then we can see who's take was closer to the mark when all is said and done and what that means for the winners and losers on the day.
Looking back, Thatcher's Tories seemed to be on the way out, after just a short time in government, then the Falklands happened, Maggie patriotically rode a tank, and then she somehow got voted in twice more. The present lot of Tories seem to be counting on Brexit being the new Falklands to hold on to power.
@Paul Nolan Enough said 😂
I'm hiring a PA and playing this outside my polling station Thursday👍
Brilliant work Mr Pie 👌
Matthew Round fuck yeah power to you
great idea
Just went into vote with it blasting out on my phone. Got told to turn it off as I shouldn’t be promoting any political affiliations in a polling station. I just ignored them & carried on living in a democratic way.

@Samuel Black well, you're a useless fucker then aren't you?

Best one yet!!! Thank you Mr.Pie.... I’m now going to watch it again!
Jonathan Pie: One of the only news reporters with an actual opinion.
He's actually a comedian and this is a character but OK.
@Mark Kenny Ok let me put it this way. Jonathan Pie: The reporter that expresses his opinion in a more truthful way.
LemonZeppelin he constantly retweets other people who take his content seriously so I’m pretty sure this is his actual opinion.
@@gmgunnhildr2711 I'm sure it's his actual views but the point is that he's not a news reporter. He's a guy doing a character.
LemonZeppelin of course.
Guessing you really needed to vent after a while.
After what the Tories have done, he's been extremely patient.
mike A don't you believe it - this is the real Tom!
@mike A I feel the same as this. I really feel sick at the thought of more Conservatives. I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I don't think things can sustain like this.
That's literally everything I want to say about them.
Absolutely fantastic material, fantastic analysis, a mood held by so many never to be expressed by mainstream media.
This is the one I've been waiting for
He's right, isn't he? Absolutely 100% right.
This guy really should be a reporter - this is the kind of news we really want to hear :)
Been waiting for this. Didn’t disappoint at all.
