Well, very good movie music. I do like the piano part uses both keys and the inside of the piano. In fact the "progression" at least for the first few minutes seems to be from starting inside (dampening string in the low notes) to outside, more chords staccato but with quite a metallic touch asked (a la Nancarrow's Player Piano Studies). The orchestral writing is interesting as the timbres are quite similar to bowed gongs, vibes and manipulation of such types of percussion. Another interesting characteristic of the piece is the chordal language has some reminisces of Bartok's 2nd Piano Concerto (an it makes sense as it was Bartok who was the first to explore quite a bit the percussive qualities of the piano).
Must hear it again as right now a little distracted by errands - and one of the reasons I sometimes do not like listenign to pieces on you tube - but seems worth giving more hearings.
