- Welcome to my latest TH-cam video, where I walk you through the process of installing a hitch on a 2004 Toyota Corolla! I've used the highly compatible U-Haul hitch, specifically part number 29174, which is designed to fit seamlessly on all Toyota Corollas ranging from the model years 2003 to 2019.
In this installation, I've opted for an 8-inch drop ball mount to ensure optimal towing capabilities. To accommodate the hitch receiver size, I've also included a 1-1/4-inch to 2-inch hitch adapter. For secure towing, I've attached a 2-inch steel ball hitch, providing reliability and stability on the road.
Ensuring safety and peace of mind, I've utilized a 5/8-inch by 3-inch hitch pin and a 1/2-inch by 3-3/4-inch hitch pin, both of which I sourced from Harbor Freight. These hitch pins provide added security, ensuring that your hitch stays securely attached to your vehicle during towing.

Do you think my Corolla will be able to tow a seadoo?
The Corolla is rated for 1500 lbs . if the jet and trailer together weigh less than 1500 lbs everything is fine
