I spent a bit of time figuring out how this DIY remote starter was going to be designed and I think I finally have something that might do the trick. I made use of common off the shelf parts (so it's truly DIY) and that pretty much anyone can build it. This video goes in depth on how exactly the remote starter will be built. Nothing glossed over!

Hi, your project is very interesting, have you finished it ?
Actually I am working on a fleet control system using GPS and GPRS to send data to a master data base and visualize statistics. Also, this system needs to authorize the start of the car using RFID, so I need to interrupt the starter switch. The question is, how did you find the magnitude of the current passing by the starter switch wires?, I need to get that value, to figure which components (relays) or it's characteristics are needed to control those currents. That info isn't at the User's or the Workshop manual. Thank you

late response but just use a multimeter in the current measurement settings and start the vehicle while looking at the multimeter then take the maximum amperage displayed and start from that .

Dude, not cool. You spell your name almost like mine. Mine is RixCanDoIt. You use the same slogan as I do on my channel, "...And So Can You!" My very first video using the slogan goes back to 2015 where your first is 2018. What's up? It looks too much like a copycat channel name/slogan.
