It's not about secularism, Pakistan was pushed towards hardline views to help the US in its fight against the Soviets. This led to many problems. Unfortunately India is today in the same situation as Pakistan of old, the US will push India to hardline views to ready it for a war against China.

But form such an alliance within and among your friends to have such discussions and introspections to overthrow the army rule in ur country and fight to bring in secular democracy like in India. Women are still not safe in India. There are many things that we should take care of. Tech and Science isn't everything. GDP per capita of those countries is still higher than India.
Self criticism is the first sign of growth. I hope undereducated Indians also understand this and help India grow even faster.
