What the speaker doesnt realize is that there are many times more transactions per minute by volume than amazon on the UPI. The architecture that has been built leaves even western top software architects from amazon, google with their mouth's wide open. What india has achieved is not a task that a team of say 10-15 developers with a few architects can put together. They emoloyed the best people as consultants from the private sector during this journey.

The first step of digitization in India was to establish an universal ID system (AADHAR). Then they were able to open bank accounts for each one of them. The bank accounts were free and zero balance accounts. This is not something that can be done in 6 months. Also, they needed the UPI like infrastructure. Then banks and other institutions had to embrace this interface. It is not as simple as the commentator was making it look easy. They also had JIO for connectivity and internet. If you start now, and get it done in 5 years, it will be lightening speed. It took India more than 10 years to get to where they are. May be these guys can ask India to do it for them for a fee.

In India, it was a brilliant convergence of private sector and government policies to make this happen.
    From Government side:
    1. JAM trinity was achieved.
    2. Based on that, UPI could work smoothly
    3. KyC was persued relentlessly by RBI and ensured all financial institutions get it done.
    4. Payment Banks were allowed.
    To count a few.
    On Private Side-
    1. Internet was made accessible and affordable to common people.
    2. The payment companies provided incentives to use their platform and a competition started between various vendors.
    3. Steps like, distribution of QR codes placards, stickers, providing audio verification machines to vendors were some of the innovations and investments which private sector made.
I personally, do not withdraw any cash for my day to day transactions since last 3 years.

A major problem with Pakistan is the lack of education especially among women. In India, especially in a (92 percent) literate state like Kerala, women do not marry men who are not a graduate at a minimum.Even the lowest income group like my maid want their daughters to go to the best school they can afford .A country cannot progress until the women do.Sure,we have our share of problems as women even here but education makes a huge difference!

3:30 onwards, guy clearly has no relevant experience and operational understanding on the subject. He has no clue on what it takes to role out UPI nationwide: the tech, the architecture, the partnerships, regulations, governance, acceptability, eco system and so on. If this was so easy, why is India the only country in the world to create such mega interoperable UPI system? For starters, just try and put together a bunch of bankers, telcos, independent wallet and card operators in a room and try to make them co-operate with each other. Once the meeting starts, just sit back and enjoy, don't forget to get popcorn. I did that twice 🙂

Seeing this, Pakistan is massively ignorant about a lot of advanced things happening in India. And lacks the balls to do any reforms. Pakistanis just talk, they cannot implement anything. To do digitalization, you need to have the balls to demonetize first. Without someone strong like PM Modi, demonetization is impossible. Unless you have a strong, smart, honest, visionary leader like PM Modi that can take everyone along the path of development, nothing is possible. If you look at Asian countries that trailblazed economically, all had powerful leaders at the top for a long time. In Pakistan you will never have a visionary, powerful civilian leader , as your Army will never allow that. And therefore Pakistan will also fall behind Afghanistan - who now have powerful leadership that is stable. Look at the infrastructure projects going in Afghanistan - they are investing well and finishing these projects on time. No such thing is happening in Pakistan.

Also this new conversation in Pak TV media about no toilets in India ... Since the past few weeks ... Just research , if you can't here is the reality
India launched Swachh Bharat Mission on 2nd October 2014.
Under the mission, all villages, Gram Panchayats, Districts, States and Union Territories in India declared themselves "open-defecation free" (ODF) by 2 October 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing over 100 million toilets in rural India

6 mahine Mai ho jayega😂, I think they are missing some big points, all of this digitization looks simple, but to create a stack that is secure and can concurrently handle billions of payments requires years of tech skill development in the country, the fintech technologies, getting people to open bank accounts, connecting aadhar with banks, it's all a step by step process which takes years and a long term view to implement

Mungeri laal kein haseen swapne. This guy has no idea what India has done in the last ten years. This fellow claims to put UPI system in six months. Are you mad. Every Pakistani will have to have a Bank Account first. Adhaar-like system will have to be put in place. You guys will not be able to do it in 10 years also. Please stop comparing with India. You will only get disappointed by it. We are on the flight. You guys are in the stone age. You all guys are Jihadis in your heart and nothing is going to improve in Pakistan if you don't systematically take out Islam from your governance.
