OMG! I always thought this "deleted scene" was cut in the script stage, I didn't know they actually filmed it! Yeay! I'm still sad we never got a true Sam/Jack moment, but this is almost as good :) Thanks for posting!!
OMG How was this deleted? It totally confirms Sam/Jack became canon!!!!! Still not thrilled about Keller and Rodney (zero chemistry and she was forever trying to change him into the person he was when he was having that whole Second Childhood thing aka NOT ACTUALLY HIM) but I love that Sam and Jack was nearly confirmed. I mean, who else would Sam be talking about?

@1226summer Actually, Vala came up with the idea of the wedding in 200. Pretty interesting, in my opinion, that she imagined Carter and O'Neill in that scenario, and not herself... ;)
After all this time, this is the official confirmation we get. A deleted scene from the sister show. But you know what? This has made me *deliriously* happy!!! They were my original ship after Mulder and Scully :)) So glad to see it finally resolved :) At least I wil take it as a resolution, it's good enough for me!
When I ended watching the last episode of SG-1 I was : What the hell, what about Sam & Jack? I always hoped that they would end up together and it was : I watched 10 seasons and for what-nothing......AAAAA Thank you for posting this. You made me soooo happy :)))
Brad Wright DID confirm in an AMA last year that Jack and Sam were together. He said that for the unproduced pilot he wrote (set post SG-1 and SGA) there was a line between Jack and Sam that went, and I quote him off Reddit, "I still have your toothbrush. I've only used it once." Unfortunately, seems like this also implies that they later broke up but hey, we never got the show he wanted to write. As always, who knows how they actually would have ended up.
In one of the recent panels brad wright was on he said more about that scene he wrote, and it sounded like Sam was elsewhere that wasn’t Washington. Because he said that Jack would of said “I’d love to see you,” and then later on said “I still have your toothbrush, I’ve only used it once” so I’m pretty sure that they were still together but just in a long distance relationship, and that Sam had just left her toothbrush at his cabin. But I’m not sure, I’m just going off of what brad wright said at that panel🤷♀️
I can't believe it's been literally years i've last seen Stargate. I was always really obsessed with shipping these two and not being a native English speaker i watched this scene not knowing fully what they've been saying, and trying to figure it out. Now here we are, around 5 years later i finally understand.
Thanks for posting it! I just cant believe that I could see it ,even if we wont see anything between the two of them in the future. But I hope we will! :) Thanks patty9595 for your help!!!:)
Same. And who knows, now when Amazon bought MGM and the whole Stargate franchise with it, maybe we'll get a new series or a movie and they'll finally confirm it. In the other hand, how evil would it be, if they confirmed them dating by saying they broke up after a few years and we'll only see the post-break-up relationship
Because , based on what Brad Wright mentioned as well as Amanda Tapping in several Convetions: the "army" and also a Pentagon representative didn't approve. The scripts were vetted by them before deciding the final cut and they vehemently opposed Sam & Jack being together as it's "against regulations". And given they were one of the massive sponsors of the show in terms of gear, costumes and other stuff they had a deffinitory day in it. But I find it stupid, to be honest, for them to have such degree of freedom & involve into the creative process. Because at the end of the day, while Sam & Jack may have kept a facade for the external eyes to see, beyond the closed doors they could have and should have (if they so desired) some together time. Nothing says they had to marry or write it on all the wall s for the army to see. But yeah... that's basically the bs reason, which as I mentioned above, doesn't hold water. Unrealistic excuse- to say the least.
@filmfreak491 : Stargate Atlantis is spin-off Stargate sg-1. it started at the beginning of season 8 of sg-1. If you watched sg-1 you can remember the episodes with doctor elizabeth weir. she was sent to antarctica to lead research about antient chair (which you can see in episodes lost city part 1 and 2). Stargate Atlantis begins when they find there Gate adress to Lost city of Atlantis. It normal tv series with 5 seasons. First three seasons was aired parallely with season 8, 9 a 10 of sg-1.
Yes, as we know there is a new plan, Brad Wright is working on the script, but it makes me happy, that there is a new opportunity to see them together.
I think the only real Sam/Jack moment is in SG-1 9 or 10... anyway, when she and Cam stay hidden in the cloaking field on some planet, and she's injured badly, and at one point she tells him her computer password, which is "fishing" ;)). Too bad they deleted this one though.
Well the jack O'Neil and Samantha carter that stayed in the past. After fixing it. In the episode that Samantha first went fishing. They probably stayed together maybe had children. Who knows.
I cant recall the episode,But i think early season 8,Sam us on the phone and hurriedly ending the call confirming dinner with Jack. For me that was the icing confirmation they got together.
I'm still hoping we'll get a something big in the third SG-1 movie since most likely O'neill will be in that one as well. I'm keeping up the hope till SG ends, or till I'm shown otherwise :D

Wow, why the hell didn't they put that actual character development and back story explanation in instead of all that pointless crap and Rodney fumbling about verbally? Trio was the worst episode of Atlantis ever, yes worse than Childhood's End.
You know, Sam/Jack always made me question just what the majority of people think a relationship should be. and whether people can understand a character beyond their relationship with another person. Doesn't anyone question why Jack doesn't just retire if he does love Sam? or vice versa, why Sam doesn't take a civilian job? I know it's a TV show but i can't see them having more than unresolved sexual tension. i sure as hell wouldn't want to wait 12 years for a 60+ year old spouse
I honestly always wondered why when it came to that as well. I thought maybe it wa an excuse for Jack because he was scared of starting another relationship that would definitely get serious given what happened with his first marriage/family. I think also neither of them would want the other to feel regret or envy of each other if one left the field that they love and the other stayed

How was this not in the series? OK, my headcanon has just been updated and will forever hold this as confirmation of a Jack/Sam thing going. FINALLY!
