1955 Willys Jeep Custom Audio System

When the owner of this beautiful Willys Jeep originally came in, none of their audio was functioning. After taking a brief look at it, it was easy to tell why nothing was working. The previous installer didn't install any marine grade product. The front radio was not marine grade and had no cover on it to protect it from the elements. The rear speakers were not marine grade and they were in MDF enclosures that acted as sponges and sucked up a lot of water. We tore out all of the non-marine grade product and replaced it with much higher quality marine grade product. Starting with the radio, we installed a Kenwood marine grade CD player with Bluetooth, USB & Aux. Since this vehicle does not have a top to cover the interior when it rains, we installed a flip up magnetic cover to add another layer of protection to the radio. We installed a pair of Rockford Fosgate M2 6.5" marine grade speakers as well as a Kenwood marine grade 4 channel amplifier under the dash. In the rear, we did the same Rockford Fosgate M2 6.5" speakers, but we installed them in truck lined boxes to protect them from the elements. This client was looking for something that blended well with the vehicle, sounded great, and could handle the elements. We here at Audio Garage ticked all of those boxes for them.
