32:45 I think I've got one of the biggest f2p trains atm with 915k fixed attack. Almost entirely from guild tickets, though 30 tickets ann orange chest from christmas gave a big boost as well.
This series is an absolute masterclass in why you shouldn't spend 5 or 600 dollars hoping for the validation of beating everyone else. Well done.
(It's also bonkers. I can't imagine what it would feel like to spend this much, and then just steam roll so much content with no effort... beating SL 25 with level 1's is funny, but can that really be gratifying outside of a one-off joke? I think it'd almost feel regretful to have an account that could do so well with so little thought needed. Great series though. Enjoying it.)
This is how anyone can or will feel that have a job. Idk why everyone makes it sound like 300 or 500 bucks is a life changing amount of money thrown into the game just for pleasure, when the average person that has their financials done right can do that easily.
And no, we're not going down the route of ''500 BuCkS iS A ToN wHeRE i lIvE'' that means you live in a country where that's more than a monthly salary, or two even, and thus shouldn't even consider playing this with spending in mind.
Besides, MK is currently not even in hindsight of any long term whale, and winning in PVE is currently just to set himself up for the gains later down the line. Pvp is where it's at.
500 dollars can buy, at a comparable minimum, 5 high quality games with 60+ hours of time each.
If you want to tell yourself spending 500 on intangible power ups in a gacha game is an irrelevant sum of money, that’s fine though.
And if you want to pretend that 500 actually bought you anything besides a different progress wall, or loosing to people who spent 5000, that’s fine too.
And if you believe people who see things differently have never held employment, that’s great.

Actually, let me give a more sincere less confrontational reply.
I understand most people have discretionary income. They can spend it, and they're not going to ruin their lives. 500, 5000, whatever it is. And while some people -do- have gambling addictions where this gacha stuff ruins lives, I understand most don't.
I think it's a bad buy regardless, because you're getting nothing. You're being sold pixels, with no value, that will be deleted whenever the game dies. And it will.
You're buying a quick dopamine hit. After that, you find yourself stuck on B, instead of A. Nothing has actually changed. Or you find yourself loosing in pvp to Z, who spent even more, and no longer to Y. Maybe your increased rank gets you a few bonus temporary pixels.
My problem isn't with anyone's individual spending of money they have to spend. It's with the fact that enough people do this to such a degree, that the entire game industry has been contorted. Open up the iStore (or whatever android does) and it's -really- hard to find a game without these in app purchases.
It turns out, it's easier to make money by selling nothing, than it is to make money by developing a quality game that's not a live service and selling that.
This outlook has gone beyond mobile games now, to impact PC and Console stuff.
That's what bothers me.
How is a PvP game where the winner is determined (largely) by the bigger wallet more engaging than a game where the winner is determined /entirely/ by player skill and choices? I would say it's not.
.... well, that and the fact that there really are gambling addicts who're getting screwed over by the industry, and it targets children under 18 as well. Both of which are legit issues, even if you can spend your $10,000 on it without negatively impacting your own life.
@@francoisdauzon3107 All of that can just be answered with : They know, they play and spend merely for fun. They know that even if they spend 500, the guy that did 1000 will be better. It doesn't however mean that it will always be the case. They also know no games are eternal, and that's already accepted way before spending comes into play.
Not to mention, you can argue the same for f2p players that they'd have wasted their time, which is worth more than money in the long run by spending a decade playing a game that inevitably will close.
In any case. It gets tiring to see people (not you specifically) make certain amounts sound like it's world changing money and thus they should share/give away/etc because they said so. This is unironically a problem us spenders face day after day by jealous people. Cannot spend in a game or a horde of people will come begging or call us names for no reason other than the fact we spend, and that should stop.

Do you know how boring that would be? There's literally so little you can do as f2p. Just because you f2p can relate to it, doesn't mean he should force himself through an gruelling amount of boredom that is playing as a f2p. The magic of this series is literally showing how far you can get things when you spend, people are always curious about that.
