- Hello everyone. After several requests, I have now created the comparison. samsung s23 ultra 8k at 30fps against the app motioncam pro. the footage was rendered to 4k 30 fps with lumafusion. so you can compare everything better.
lumafusion is really good. motioncam too. but the s23 ultra is unbeatable
#s23ultra
#s23
#samsung
#motioncam
#lumafusion
i think we're a few years away from default catching up to motioncam / raw
We have to deal with that what we got. And its really good atm
doubt it
First shot, the horse one, the highlight of hair tells you motion cam is much better
Motioncam captures more details, the picture is more pleasant
How much storage did you use for Motion Cam videos?
any luts or color grading? or just default render from motioncam? Just Amazing................................!!!
Out of the Box. No grading
The samsung has unnatural shadow boost which ruin video and also suffer slightly sharpen.
Other wise its quite good.
Raw video are pleasing to the eye
Yes. Samsung is to bright. And u can see there are less details during movement. If u wanne have it easy. Use Samsung. If u wanne have Pro mode go with raw.
@@matthiasneumann6775 Yeah Samsung as usuall is processing white balance too bright... MC is nicer to watch. On the other hand zoom seems slightly better on default mode?
ATM MC is laggy at the beginning and the end of the record
Marques included a video clip on his review of the S23U. He Color Corrected the clip, and showed the before and after results. The clip looked so much better after it was color-corrected
Thats the reason why we wanna use raw data. Like v-log
Anyone else notice stabilization seems much worse on motioncam pro? Nothing a gimbal wouldn't solve.
@@thejeffyb9766
You can turn the Stabilization on. U get a crop.
colors are much better on motioncam
They are Real. No AI rendering
@@matthiasneumann6775 use this settings in direct log to fix brightness problem set ev to 1.2 for HDR hlg and 1.5 for standard hevc and saturation to 1.5 in hlg HDR for standard 1.3 this saves alot of time and space 😂
only thing i dont like about samsung and motion cam is the low light is garbage cause the 108mp sensor
what if we can record 8k raw it it would be best quality on ant smartphone , raw look great it think if bitrate for 8k video was high and no sharpening it will improve for general use it has good stabilization vs raw you have do it in post overall raw is good
How long can one record with motioncam 4k 30 fps? Is there a time limit?
No limit. Your limit is your storage.
Samsung for me❤
Do u wanne see my s23 ultra vlogging setup?
Tak 😉
S23U's videos look much more stable than the motioncam's? Are my eyes deceiving me? Lol
Im late but its because of that EIS and OIS that default can use at the cost of quality (cuz it zooms in too for EIS to work). Its very ugly to me cuz its way too robotic. MotionCam is better.
Hallo Matthias. Vergleichen Side by Side wäre besser!!!
