Thank you so much for this tutorial! I love how you broke it down to explain how they each work separately and then added it together so we wouldn't feel overwhelmed.
Brilliant Red 👍. Even with Notion's recent development of the progress bar/ring people shoul dhave a look at this video because there is a lot to learn
Thank you for showing me how to use formulas. What if I need a formula to change depending on the habit? For example, I have some habits that I need to track daily, but others that I only track on weekends. It seems that when I change the formula, it changes for all the habits automatically.
I love this way of tracking progress. However, is it possible to also visualise the percentage of checked boxes in each column instead of row? I know that at the end of the tables, notion lets you calculate the percentage of checked boxes but is it possible to visualise this progress? I find it more exciting to track individual habits over a whole year. Thanks for any tips!
HI, thx u, but if You wanna make something like: in one habit example drinking water put 1lt is 100% and 1/2lt is 50% how you can do that? or something like brush your teeth 3 times at day how can u do that?
For some reason my slice function doesn't accept the little cubes or any type of emoji or icon for that matter, it just shows me an error saying "Argument of type text does not satisfy function slice." I don't understand why it shows me this since i followed your video and it worked with you. Does anyone know how to help?
I faced the same issue and found that there were changes in the slice function and that we can still use it by combining with the join function. Below is the formula I tried and it worked for me. I hope it helps. join(slice(["■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■"], 0, 10*prop("% Done")), "")
Really usefull! Thank you! For those who are having problems with the formulas for the Full Progress Bar, try this one: if(prop("% Done") < 0.1, "■",join(slice(["■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■", "■"], 0, 10*prop("% Done")), ""))+ join(slice(["□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□", "□"], 10*prop("% Done")), "") + " " + format(100*prop("% Done")) + "%" It should work if you have done the "%Done" section correctly!
This was insanely advanced, you are a god
No please do not say that.
Yes it is amazing but not god
Ur way of teacher is so much easier to understand. Thank you for taking ur time to explain this properly

Only person that explained this so well mad props thank you
This was so cool; I was wrecking my head around Notion trying to create just a tracker, but you've made it really easy to follow! Thank you!!!!
You’re a great teacher! I’ve been so intimidated by Notion, but I’ve already learned so much from your tutorials. Thank you!

Holy Shit how good are you at teaching!?
Keep it up and you will definitely get the viewers you deserve!!
Thanks!
I really loved this video, I never thought I could understand formulas before this. You have a gift of teaching!
I don't usually comment on videos but this one helped me a lot ever since starting notion. Thank you very much!
谢谢!
Thank you very much!

I've wanted to make something like this. Thank you very much. This is very helpful!
Thank you very much. FYI guys, i think per Jan 2024, notion has their own bar or pie using this formula.
What an absolutely fantastic tutorial. Thank you! I always learn so much from your Vids! Amazing.
Amazing video. Thank you!

There’s a “calculate” option at the bottom of each column in a database. You can choose “percent checked” to show progress of an individual habit
great video Sara!

Thnk u so much! Btw i love your voice!
Waiting this for long
Thank you very much for your template
Top ! Thanks Sarah

Ur guaranteed to bang views here lads
Thanks!!!
Does it work if the habit has number "wake-up 6am" or if the habit has an icon?
Hello Red!! Morning! Don't show the option "done" when i wrote the formula. I send the text on the instagram, pls help me!
Tanks your are great girl
what is this use for? math? your agenda? but for what? exercices (health) project work?
You can choose whatever you’d like for your habits :) This is to show how the progress bar works
the formulas have been updated. Now we need to replace formula "slice" with formula "substring"
