Update... just watched it... I cant say ENOIGH about this movie... the cast was amazing... the flashbacks and the cameos and oh man.... just right on the money... That is what entertainment is right there. Spot on.

Man this movie had its moments. King Jaffe Jaffer’s funeral wow. I think every man in the world would love to go out like that. And when he died and Hakeem took a step back you could see the transfer of power in the scene

Yeah, its tough to fake laugh when someone isnt funny. Eddie Murphy is one of my favorite actors. Coming to America and the Beverly Hills Cop series are timeless.

I think this is the 2nd comedy skit that I have seen Wesley Snipes in, the first was in Michael Jackson's 'BAD' video! He is mostly known to portray serious roles in movies👍
And his portrayal of the character 'Blade' was totally on point indeed from the Spiderman/Marvel character!!!
Wesley started off doing all comedy before he got into drama’s and action. Wildcats (1985), Major League (1988), White men can’t jump (1992). He’s just going back to his comedic roots.

It wasn’t a bad movie, but your kidding about the script right, my 5 year old could have done better, it was the first movie 30 years later, just a reunion movie nothing more other than Snipes roll, hell they even had flashbacks from the first movie.

Naaawh, Cuba isn’t as big a star as he used to be... He’d probably have been happy to take whatever pay he would’ve gotten from the brief cameo...
I think it would've been way better to bring back Ruben Santiago Hudson, but now he's legit instead of selling stolen goods.
Cuba has been having some problems with sexual harassment charges and court cases. I doubt the filmmakers wanted to deal with the messiness.

I like Wesley Snipes am not a huge fan but I like him. And it has been refreshing to see him in new productions like Dolomite and now this. I like that new actors are able to shine but I also appreciate it when older actors that have paid their dues, sort of, are still acknowledged through new roles.
I remember some years back reflecting on the original movie I was at church and I was in charge of taking offering speaking of iconic lines I actually said we praise God for all that you can give you" thank you for for the money that Jingles when we would prefer the money that folds "everybody just Snickered and I was a young woman
😂 and my children will young at the time and they remembered and now they're all adults am I always fun reminded me remember when you said that in church when you took up the offering😉
