After speaking with MX Tech, I understand that there is a check valve on the mid valve that prevents the low speed bypass on the rebound circuit from allowing free oil flow through this circuit on compression. I like how they separated these functions and it has allowed me to fine tune compression and rebound settings without any overlap between the 2.
Yes there is and I'm glad you are aware of those nuances 💪 To be able to make this video more digestable, some details were left out proposedely. Since that check valve has little impact on the overall behaviour of the forks (it does not mean it has no value, don't take me wrong) I opted to keep things simple 👌
You have some of the best suspension graphics on TH-cam. Hopefully you will have a video testing these Raven cartridges out and compare them to the KYB SSS forks valved to your personal settings. Personally I prefer the open cartridge forks for off road riding in non racing situations, they seem to soak up the small bumps better.
Thank you so much! I will, for sure 👌 there are a lot of details that I left out which are more riding specific, but will definitely address those points 💪
Great video! It would be good to explain how the huck valve works to manage both high and low speed vs a typical bottoming cone. It’s like magic running a plush setup for off road! I miss my National shock
Forgot the check valve in the huck valve that’s on the mid valve , on compression stroke closes bypass forcing the dampening to be controlled by the shim stack

awesome video as usual! thank you!
Thank you so much Cody! 🙌🙏
Awesome video and explanation thank you
I'd really like to see the ravens compared to the del saggio spheres.
E qual é o valor desses cartuchos ?
Boas!

@@StepstoPodium sweet. Air forks are terrible
