The guy playing Johnny was in a movie called Code of Silence starring Chuck Norris. He played Cragie a dirty cop. This movie has one of my favorite scenes of all time. Check it out. He was also in the Blues Brothers movie as a dispatcher who's best line was "The use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers has been approved".
I swear this is the clip that got me interested in the 1920s 1930s 1940s American gangster Al Capone-style setting and history. (Ever since I was a kid I've been fascinated with that history and setting as well as the Wild West.) There's just something about the style in the clothes and of course the attitude that just makes it so cool... And I love how the old man here in this clip is easily the most intimidating. He reminded me of my my beautiful dearly departed grandpa but of course my grandpa was a real cool guy but I loved how this old man was just a ruthless gangster.
Believe it or not, the main characters in the ancient mob movies really were this comedically savage. Look up clips of (for example) Edward G. Robinson.
Anybody watching this because of Macaulay Culkin closing his Walk of Fame acceptance speech saying, "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals" a few hours ago?
Before the former got his guts pumped full of lead and the latter went "upstairs to take a bath", I bet both Snakes and Acey were among those who were smooching with the girlfriend from the second movie.
His name is snakes 😂 the Greatest name ever . Classic for sure.. its just one of those simple but genius names ..Snakes, its kinda like someone named needles 😂 that's classic as well. The director of home alone knew what the world liked and knew what he was doing for sure ..the man made a classic all time great Christmas film and in that same film he made a famous and simple gangster movie and just a clip of it was all that was needed. People like that one clip just as much as home alone itself thats something that would probably never happen again in film industry
Funny thing is fellow TH-camrs. I tried looking for this movie too to see if it was real because I got even though it’s from the home alone franchise at this actually was a real movie. It be a pretty awesome good one both as a first and as a sequel
Now i know that these arent real films i can hear john williams all over that intro to the second clip. Sounds like something he could've used for Star Wars.
this guy was supposed to work in an private investigator office , looks like the only thing he could do is simplify things. Upstairs taking a bath, seeing the expression o Snakes face, that was most likely a blood bath.
Wondering what will be the ending of both movies? Johnny got caught or ran away from police in the first movie and Johnny got shot to death by rival or police in the second movie.
"STAY IN YOUR ROOMS!
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!
THERE'S AN INSANE GUEST WITH A GUN!!!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Once Johnny started counting, I would’ve been out that door like a bat out of hell.
He wouldn't even give you a running start.
She should’ve stayed home
The second clip is hilarious it was the funniest part of Home Alone 2 it was brilliantly edited and filmed.
I genuinely thought this was real movie, so I tried looking for it.
@MyMediaArchiveMind you, it is based on (and a pun on) a real movie from the 1930s, Angels With Dirty Faces.
@MyMediaArchivesame

I thought it was an actual movie too.
@MyMediaArchive I thought Angels with Filther Souls is 1920 Movie!

Like half of all the sopranos fatalities were like that. Paulie walnuts was crazy 😂

''Johnny, you're the ONLY duck in my pond''
"Too bad Acey ain't in charge no more." & "I could go on forever, baby!" are the best lines.
Before the former got his guts pumped full of lead and the latter went "upstairs to take a bath", I bet both Snakes and Acey were among those who were smooching with the girlfriend from the second movie.
makes since
That is two black and white movies where there's arguing, and one blows the other away.
They're the kind of movies that 'some like it hot'. Yep, that Marilyn Monroe flick had a scene like that too...poor Spats hahaha.
"Keep the change, you filthy animal."
Alright Johnny I’m sorry… lol.. love it when Snakes says that 😂😂😂
Angels with filthy souls and the Angels with even filthier souls in the dvd.
RIP to Johnny the gangster! Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal! And a Happy New Year!
You wouldn't want to mess with Johnny
2:03 "CLIFF" 😆😆😆
Cliff: “It’s a lie!”
Angels With Dirty Faces was a Dead End Kids movie and the sequel was titled Angels Wash Their Faces.
"Get down on your knees and tell me ya love me!"
"All, right......On our knees........I love you!"
The actual clip in the Home Alone movie was much more intense than this,
they even show Snakes getting killed on-screen.
Poor Snakes 😪
Only line missing is “it’s cardidious Johnny, your favourite.” Obviously understand why
This maniac shot his way to the top.
We need this as a movie

「良い年になるぜぇ」
The trilogy to Dirty Faces is complete
I wish that would be actually real classic movie, not just for needs of Home Alone.
2:19 me too
That's not fair! He didn't count right.
Johnny's got one VERY itchy trigger finger.
“Leave it on the door step and get the hell outta here” real gangstas lol
SNAKES?!?!?!?!?!?
If Home Alone 3 had the Mcallister’s again, Angels with the Filthiest Souls

@@nathancruz9172Good comeback LOL 😂
1:05 What sucks is that his Tommy Gun here doesn't have the same sound effects as in the movie, Home Alone 1 and 2. Why?

2:21 You kness. I love you
from home alone 😂😂
I want to see this as a real movie 🎬
*“Keep The Change, You Filthy Animal !!!”*
and a happy new year
Makes you wonder if trying the trick on anybody would work
One of these was in Detective Pikachu (the movie, not the game)
2:10 American Soldier WHEN Japanese soldier TRIES to _"surrender"_ on some random Pacific island during WW2
Like a cross between john wayne and grandpa lewis

The only movies that are actual movies that was shown in Home Alone films are Miracle On 34th Street and It's A Wonderful Life.
@@melissacooper8724 I understand what you’re implying fellow TH-camr but you never know our world works in mysterious ways
Cool, I'd like to see Little Mo with the gimpy leg 🦵🏽😭😭
@@DietzNutz-oj4dy and I would love to see all those other guys he was talking about, including some guy who calls himself AC you know what I mean
@@melissacooper8724Don't forget the 60's version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Knock-knock-knock-knock!
This scene is from the home alone films
The 1st one is different (in case u don’t know some parts (the home alone version and original version) are different)
Snakes detective Cole Phelps
When will get this awesome DLC case on the Homicide Desk?
Home Alone
