It’s not too bad mate once you’re get into it, hardest part is working blind down the back of the engine!, but I’m sure you will get there!. Good luck!
i am heartbroken , dvla illegally revoked my license back in sept 2020 , they mailed myself and my mp apologising stating they in process of reinstating it , i got no idea what i am doing and cant try do this myself, being terminally ill i can work and cant afford to pay to have it done, car was working fine before having my license taken off me , now the arm on turbo wont budge so think i am buggered, as this looks like a very expensive job to pay some1 . excellent video tho how u kept it in focus all time :) great job
@Chris_CDB Hello friend, thank you for sharing this video it has been very helpful! I have an old jag 2005 just like the one from the video 2.2 tdci 155 hp. May I ask if there is a turbine unit I can purchase from the UK and how much would a brand new unit or a refurbished one cost? As here in Europe - Bulgaria there is only one web page that sells them and not sure if they are the original ones.
@@Chris_CDB Hi again. I stripped the thing in situ yesterday to clean it best I could. .If worse comes to worse though and I need to replace the turbo, Are the manifold bolts known to shear off, do you know?. Cheers.
@@Chris_CDB Gotcha.. The 6 bolts on the top end that holds the cartridge side in were surprisingly easy to crack.. Sooo hopefully the manny bolts will be the same *fingers crossed*.. haha Cheers again.
Top Video,, you make it look easy to get out, going to have this a few times before I get to mine

Thank you for your time and sharing, nice work, can you please tell me what camera did you use it? Very nice image clear view. Thanks Best wishes
No problem, it is filmed on an iPhone XS Max, nothing special!
Awesome video would it be a similar process on my 2006 mondeo 2.0tdci 130bhp thanks 👍
Yea it will be very similar if not the exact same
@@Chris_CDB okay thankyou 👍
This is a really strange question.. But would it be possible to buy a whole unit and just change the cartridge side in situ.. Just wondering ..
Disregard that lol.. Just looked again and nope.
Yea would be pretty much impossible!

@@Vanadeo it is a bit of an unknown, to be honest it will just depend on the condition of the bolts/nuts!
